Not really. Zoomers are gonna be a pedophile generation imo and you will use AI to, when 40, do the ol worm stroke to anime 12 year olds. As a man in his 30s I noticed Zoomers in their 20s "ship" underage characters while claiming anyone over 30 "has cooties." This will develop into an obsession with youth to the point you still wanna relate to the kids and probably call each other based on CP sites. My prediction anyway.

But I actually really care for and about Lain, both as an artificial construct of a young woman exploring her identity and as a grander representation of collective humanity at large. She's an image of understanding our flaws and strengths. Of where we are, and what we might become. I am here from the future. Past Norman was more correct than he knew, and was likely only thinking about memorizing these lines. I'm here to tell him today that he understands the concept of Lain as a soul that connects us. There is no real Lain, for we carry her memory with us.

Had a discussion with a friend about this anime. Told him we are in an age where Ai generation is getting interesting and mentioned they could potentialy remake this anime where every other character is written normally, except for Lain, who's interactions and experiences are created using Al generated script that is sequentially and segment fed the scenes and scenarios from the manga in an attempt to see if a similar outcome to the original run can be created with actual A.l.. Kinda a dumb thing, but thought it was interesting.

@@sheluv.sofia1well as it turns out they misdiagnosed me. Turns out I'm developing schizophrenia and my psychosis episodes are just really grounded which caused the mood swings and isolation. They have me on antipsychotics now which seem to be working much better than the previous meds.

Was watching a different Lain clip in KZread browser (Safari) and then switched over to the KZread app to watch a different video. The audio from this clip started playing over the other video I was watching (a cinema video essay lol). Scared the shit out of me. Apparently this video autoplayed after the other Lain clip I was watching, which is normal in and of itself, but the fact that the audio glitched and played despite me having closed Safari and being on another app entirely was… unnerving. Especially because it starts with just that static lol, at first I thought maybe the other video I was watching was glitching but then she started talking and I almost shit myself
