Laid To Rest Guitar Lesson

Музыка

My introduction to Lamb of God started with this one. It was one of the most enjoyable songs to play, I had to learn more. Recorded using Mercuriall's Reaxis Amp Sim. Definitely in my top 3 amp sims of all time, best boogie plugin out there. Find out more at Mercuriall.com, plenty of free stuff there to download. Great software 10/10
Thanks for tuning in again, feel free to email me with any questions at Lambchopper678@me.com Subscribe to the channel and follow on me Facebook lambchopper6...

This is my favorite Lamb of God song and I'm a big fan of theirs as well...definitely my favorite speed / death metal band for certain lol. Gotta ask though...I'm a new fan of yours so I hope I don't annoy u with this question, but Id love to know what equipment u have / use as far as guitar and amp for sure because your sound is absolutely great and super heavy and also...do u use any pedals or stomp boxes and if stomp boxes or individual pedals, in what order to u set / hook them up in. Also, where are u from because u have one of those awesome accents too lol. Again, I hope I didn't annoy u too much with questions u have probably answered a million times, but like I said just a new fan. Rock on man, rock on.

Hey hopefully I can answer everything in one go. For this video I used Mercuriall’s Reaxis software which has the complete boogie tone in the package. As for using real amps for this tone I have a Mesa Mk V-25 which I don’t run through any pedals or effects. The guitar is a Jackson Mark Morton Dominion mij pro model. I’m from Townsville, QLD Australia

Hey mate I know you're pretty thorough when it comes to this stuff, but it sounds to my ears that the intro riff and verse riff are slightly different, the first hammer on bit in the intro goes 4-5-4 on d string, to 5 on a string (as in your vid). Whereas in the verse it sounds to me like it goes 4-5-4 (d) to 6 (a). Are you sure your way is the correct way? Otherwise I've been playing it wrong but I feel confident on this one haha
