You can do this on a Squier! Don't need anything special for it and you definitely don't need a 7 string.

I’ve heard people complaining about how hard it is to play from 5 to 1 towards the end and I don’t think it’s too hard, sure it’s a stretchy riff but it’s so much fun to play once you get it nailed down. Rad video🤘🤘🤘
