I was surfing the videos of Pakistan cities out of curiosity and got to see this one. The same culture, same environment, same language. Everything is so very similar. Good one. Very much appreciated.

mohit kumar Technologies develops if shared. If Pakistan is developing due to us its good for us. You should remember we depend on Korea for Bullet train. SO every one has to dpend on one or the other. We also will get fuel at very low rate if the Oil pipeline is allowed from Iran to India Via Pakistan.

Bravo Lahore Bravo. Very good project implementation. I liked the idea of separate road lane for this project. And roads look very awesome without any bumps and potholes. We Indians only hear the news of bomb blasts, Taliban beheading people and scores of people dying in Pakistan. Good that Government are doing something to the people of Lahore. What about other cities, heard that there is no public transport system in Karachi and Islamabad.

Yes They Have Bus System too ISlamabad is Capital So iits bus free but we have metro there too :P same and In Multan & Peshawar & Karachi coming Soon Green Line So Much to be appear in few years IN SHA ALLAH

This is much much much better than the BRT corridor in New Delhi! This Lahore transit system is very disciplined. No cars get in the way of the buses. Awesome! We don't have metro bus here, so it was a good thing to see in this video :) I heard they're constructing a metro rail system in Lahore as well! Good luck :) Thumbs up high!

+Abhishek Sanyal This metro bus track is an isolated track and is made for these buses only.... and look at the traffic... have you ever seen delhi roads so vacant if we compare to delhi the amount of vehicles on roads are atleast 100 times.... so creating separate tracks on BRT means narrowing delhi roads which will create a congested mess on delhi roads.... and delhi already has a successful world class transportation system which is metro rail.

woww!!! superb looking bus services, we are still waiting for this in delhi :( anyways lots of love and regards from delhi. Pakistan is on track now.

Wow! Lots of love from India! We had experimented similar transit system in India as well. But sadly, most of them failed. Only Ahmadabad was an exception. It was a huge success under BJP govt. Anyways, hats off to the discipline as well! Love from India!

soumya ranjan Rout true, the government need to do fix corruption, electric city and thousands of poor people. But they prefer these kind of projects over main issues, specifically the punjab government, cause obviously these kind of projects are more visible than education and health sector, and all they care about is how to get votes instead of dying people in hospitals, and no where near international level student. The only leader in pakistan, however who seems to care about all these issues is Imran Khan, he was already know for his charity compaigns (he made cancer hospital in lahore where the treatment of cancer patients is done for free, an act which even pakistani government wont be able to do, and many more charity works) And when he got government is one of the small provinces of pakistan (kpk, the pathan province) he did many great acts, like abolishing the protocol culture of minimunis, promoting the health and education sector (less visible stuff) and increasing the minimum wage in the most poor province of pakistan, where punjab even being the richest has not been able to do the same

It must be a weekend family destination for picnic. Lolz

This metro project should be replicated in Islamabad to Karachi to Hyderabad! It is such a fail-safe project that virtually you can't go wrong? No tracks, no heavy infrastructure change, no high maintenance of buses! The passenger experiences SAME level of transport as inside a train + but without heavy investment overhead? I really am fascinated by the alternative to trains as the metro project of Lahore.

Only sad thing about the same is that we are importing our Buses, Metro trains, rapid systems from turkey, china, korea, japan...... Governments of both India and Pakistan should consider developing them in our own country under make in India or make in Pakistan programmes. All the profits of our development are exported to outside countries whereas costs are born by middle class citizens of both countries.

This is better managed BRT than the crap in Delhi. Those green lights at entrances look like automatic ticket gates like in our metro. It is good concept. All BRT stops should be closed from both ends and ticked collection should be through tokens or smart cards and fare deduction should be there at exit point instead of in buses.
