Join me on an amazing virtual tour through the beautiful Lake Como in Italy. This place is a gem with so much to see and experience. Let's dive into some of the best spots around the lake!
First up, we visit the Basilica of Sant'Abbondio (00:16), a stunning Romanesque church with history that dates back to the 11th century. Its beautiful architecture and peaceful atmosphere make it a must-see.
Next, we head to the Monument to Giuseppe Garibaldi. Garibaldi (10:08) is a national hero in Italy, and this monument pays tribute to his role in unifying the country.
The medieval wall (12:04) and Tower Gate (16:23) are up next. Walking through these ancient structures, you can really feel the history of this charming town. It's like stepping back in time.
St. Cecilia Church (16:36) is another gem, with its beautiful facade and tranquil interior. Perfect for a moment of quiet reflection.
St. Fedele Square (23:34) and the Basilica of St. Fedele (23:43) are also on our list. The square is lively and full of local charm, while the basilica, dating back to the early Middle Ages, boasts incredible art and architecture.
Como Cathedral (31:44) is an absolute highlight. This grand Gothic cathedral, known for its beautiful facade and detailed interiors, is a must-visit.

We also visit the Church Diocese of Como (34:57), another beautiful and historic site in the city.
Cavour Square (37:38) is another lively spot, with plenty of cafes and shops to explore. It's a great place to relax and enjoy the local scene.
And, of course, no visit to Lake Como (39:37) would be complete without actually seeing the lake itself. The views are simply breathtaking, and it's easy to see why this place is such a popular destination.
