Yeah me too until I got my pc with 3070 with R5 5600 with a Logitech G29 to play all racing cars like this, so I’m no more playing beamng with keyboard that always looks trash on how u turn with keyboard

Same here. Now i am playing on a mid end gaming pc (no wheel sadly) from lowest settings on laptop 30-40 fps to ultra settings (pc) 80+ to 90 fps

"good game" - still through the lag its a loved game just shows how amazing beam is

I used to play on 10 fps on the newest non pbr beam ng, (0.22) until i updated, and months have past that i couldnt play 0.25, until i got a new laptop. and now i happily play on high settings with 150 fps easy

Beamng is actually unstable since last 2 updates. Especially on mid ranged PCs. The devs need to work on this FR

Recently they have added some great visual addons that come at the cost of performance. I heard motion blur costs a significant amount of performance, PBR is another chuck of framerate, and the revised shadows probably take more to run.

@@genericgoat yeah. PBR textures are super demanding. And almost all the major textures are PBR like Asphalt, Leaves, offroad trails. But. One thing i noticed was. Even somewhere like the gridmap. I barely get above 35 fps 1080p low settings (shadows on). Like bruv there is nothing in that place. And somehow modded tracks which dont even have pbr barely run properly

Dw homie, I played Beamng on lowest setting with a DDR3 motherboard, only 8 gigs of ram with a RX580. I think I got about 5 fps? It was literally a slide show haha. Moral of the story, be greatful for what you have, and work hard till you can afford sum worth your time 💪

Is it me or does beamng on the lowest graphics look better (in a nostalgic way) than the ultra graphics

How does your computer do this? Mine can't even run lowest without lagging lol

instead of beamng i play rigs of rods on minimum graphics
