Christopher Santana Unfortunately, Engine 5 just got a brand new KME and the Engine 5 seen in this video will become Engine 205 and the Engine 205 in this video will be a ready reserve engine in another station.

+Christopher Santana I'm surprised you like E205 .. the old pierce dash chassis isnt really appealing to the eye these days.

E5 is a particularly nice rig - always liked Seagrave! And of course I absolutely love that ALF Tiller! Looks like you've been spotting around LAX! :)

Yes! Engine 5 is now a KME and their Seagrave has been reassigned as Engine 205 .. I'm working on locating what stations have the LAFD Seagrave engines so i can go there for footage! I love buffing in LAX / Westchester area!

Ah right! I also think the KME's look rather nice, and I'd imagine it looks rather nice sat next to it's 'old self' as 205 ;) Yeah I find that happens, when vehicles start to move on you have to find where there's still some left to catch them. Sounds like a good area for me to buff if/when I visit!

I think the LAFD's old rotating halogen bars looked great!

Truck 5 had the siren as Engine 7 & Rescue 7

Most of the stations i x from L.A. it looks like some of them r gated & seem like a little compound....

why didn't they station 5 get a new tiller

+steven ecker Well no the way the LAFD has it set up is for a structure fire response they'll send 2 task forces ( 4 engines 2 Trucks, a ambo, ect )

+steven ecker water isn't a problem for the LAFD just yet...but. the lafd does send the pump engine to pump water to fires. they aren't so worried about having water as they are about getting it pumped in.

look it up on google. It started off as the guys pranking each other and it turned into a huge lawsuit. I have a good friend who works at Wilnigntons station and told me about it.

+Samson Mintz Nope, it is the second Engine housed at the station. Mainly that is used for Light Force 5.

+Samson Mintz In the Los Angeles City Fire Dept., a 200 series engine (also known as a 'pump') is part of a lightforce. A lightforce is truck followed by engine everywhere they go. For example, Lightforce 29 consists of Truck 29 and Engine 229.
