Great video! I see the oil shocks are a must fot the 9125. A minor observation about the dual motors though. They both drive the same spur gear which drives the front diff via a hexagonal steel driveshaft. The rear diff is driven by a gear attached to the spur. I had the ermm... opportunity of having to disassemble a 9125 three times over the last 2 days. The hex driveshaft rounded out the slot in the spur gear. It was fun driving a RWD/drift monster truck for a while.

The motors work in unison, not on separate gear boxes. Both pinions of the motors are driving the same spur gear.
Have one of these myself. Fantastic piece of kit for the money! 3s really wakes them up! Just wish there was a wheelie bar option.

No because it is dual motor. It would be nearly impossible to do that.

Yes, a lot of people have. When you go brushless, you only use one motor.
It's OK if u drive over their Graves I'm sure they won't mind... lol bury my body under the triples of the rc car track...

Maybe 3s but with dual brushed motors there's no way it is going to get over 30mph on 2s.
Got this as a christmas gift. I wanted the Tamiya blackfoot instead. Not happy. You speak about these batteries like they are strong. Should have made it 1 battery and made them stronger. Doesnt even hit 3800. It doesnt sound like an RC. It sounds like a prius. The controller is like something you get from Tyco, very childish. Im probably going to send this back.

The Blackfoot is cool but it comes with a 540 brushed motor and they want you to use a NICD battery with the Tamiya connector. Blackfoot doesn't come with a controller. The Blackfoot isn't better unless you dump money into it.
