What Could the Captain Do Different 1. Not buy a boat? 2. Take boating safety class? 3. Rent a brain? 4. Stay at home and watch the Dolphins lose again? 5. Tie weights to his wife and dump her overboard? 6. Use a submarine?

The fact he was completely oblivious that she fell, shows how important it is to wear a floatation vest of some kind. Imagine if she fell overboard? He wouldn't have noticed at all.

Was she OK standing? That depends upon her ability to to hang onto something and access the oncoming waves so her sea legs can move with the boat. Apparently she had none of the above. But as in every video I have seen where incidents like this have happen the captain was clueless about the well being of his crew or their boats capabilities. As a captain my number one concern is the safety & comfort of my crew!!!!!!!!!! A couple other quick note when coming about in rough seas, time your waves then come about quickly ahead of the next swell and dont ever let a trailing wave catch up to your stern.

At 1:01: she was very close to the pivot point(metacenter) of the boat. Thats in longtitude and sideway movement of the boat. Please make a fundamented remark about ,,the right spot,,

Ok, I live in Colorado own a 19’ rinker and i wouldn’t even consider taking in out onto the ocean even if it was guaranteed calm water. Good thing Florida had lots of dip shits to record…lol

That is how you train a dragon. Now he's got more time with his buds on the Cobia. Dragon will opt out next time. Clever strategy.

Curious she even *wanted* to be standing at that point. She had already been knocked around and saw what they were in for, but she chose to keep on standing there. As for the boat full of ladies, and so many other boats we see going through inlets (and one I've ridden in) this all leads me to one big conclusion: be very leery about accepting an offer to go for a boat ride, unless you know the skipper is particularly skilled at boating. Too many are too short on skill.
