See I’m very tempted by laceless boots because of the more natural feel but I definitely think for an actual match I’d end up returning to laced boots as I need the lockdown more than the natural feel as a defender who would rarely benefit from the laceless interaction over the tight, adjusted and powerful feel that you get with regular laced boots

Laceless boots not completely to hold the heel at perfect tightly, it had a very slightly a bit lose tension to hold at the part of heel in some kind of motion for my experience. Except X18+, it was pretty good I’ve tried.

I prefer laces due to its advantage in adjustability in comparison to laceless. All in all my gratitude for clearing my head between the 2 unique boots and there ad/ disadvantages.

I really, REALLY wanted to get the X ghosted +, they are gorgeous boots and have the awesome carbitex insert, but the drawbacks of laceless boots are still too present for me. I don't want any risk of slippage due to lack of lockdown. I went with the Mercurial Vapor 13 Elites just because they offered an insane speed boot design (probably still the best) while still having laces. The laced X Ghosted .1 seem like a close competitor, but I think they look boring and they have less grip on the ball since they don't have a knitted upper. I think the day for laceless will come but it ain't here yet in my opinion.

Honestly i love the idea of laceless boots and when the tech arrives that it can match the lockdown of laces, im laces all the way cuz u cant get the same snugness or lockdown

for everyone in doubt watching this video... I've always played with predators with size 42 2/3 or 43 1/3. Depending on what felt best with a certain predator model. I was thinking about ordering the laceless version and eventually took the risk, but i ordered size 42 instead of my normal sizes and honestly, i've never been so happy. The boots feel amazing. And it gives me absolutely enough lockdown. Not saying laces are bad and laceless is better. Just here for everyone who's in doubt of trying laceless.

I bought adiddas Predator freak.3 and it comes tight for my feet so i decided to took out the laces believe me guys it worked for me and also my boot became laceless now..

I have been now training without laces in adidas predators for a month and I didnt have any problems with stability,I took out the laces only because they were always untied because of the bad material.

I have used laced and laceless boots and I find that a lot of my laced boots tend to come undone when I get stepped on by others. But when I have laceless boots it just feels a lot more precise to shoot and just feels better on my foot. the only complaint I have is that I have had my laceless boots come off of my foot completely in the middle of a match due to being "flat tired" if you know what I mean. honestly I think it is just up to preference. but all boots are worth a shot in my eyes!

@@youngben1356 Id recommend buying the same size as you do regular boots. Whatever size you get you really wont get the same lockdown as you would get with laced boots. If you size down with laced boots size down but if not get the same size.

I usually get the .3 version of any soccer cleats , since they feel balanced to me

i prefer the adidas predaor 20+ and copa20+ over any other as my feet are wider then other i mean very wide so i don't have lockdown issue with any boot and the boot that isn't nice in lockdown feels nce to my feet . i tried the x ghosted + but they were not pleasant enough to my feet.
