Labyrinthian - Humanity's Last Breath [Drum Cover by Thomas Crémier]

Музыка

This is it.
‪@HLBofficial‬ did it again releasing recently what is the heaviest sounding album ever.
It has everything to be the soundtrack we’ll hear if the world comes to an end 🕳️
Each new single they release reaches new potential and adds atmospheres that have never been crossed in their music and I really love this gloomy and filthy ambiance yet melodic and powerful !
To honour this album, I wanted to cover the first single released, "Labyrinthian" ! 🔥
Thank you so much ‪@morbida‬ , ‪@callethomer‬ , Filip, Klas, Tuomas and ‪@nooathmnrecordings2101‬ for all the work you have done to make this album as devastating as it is !
I also want to thank Buster and especially ‪@odeholmaudio2363‬ to let us obtain the Stems of the album to make this cover having only my drums production !
I hope you’ll be proud of this cover !

Everyone’s mentioning the snare and I agree 100% that it sounds amazing - it’s like you’re getting smacked in the face every time it hits. I find it so rare to hear a snare like that and I love it. Keep up the great work dude!

Thank you a whole lot ! It really took me time to find out the good blend between all the treatments done on the snare, but it surely was worth it ! It is a shotgun at each strike ! Cheers from France !

I went down a rabbit hole and found this video and I gotta say, this whole thing is hands down the best production quality drum cover I think I've ever seen. It looks and sounds like a music video. Thanks for making this. I also really appreciate the exhaustive tech list in the description, haha. Take care.

Man, thank you deeply for this comment. This means the world to me. We really do our best to produce the best looking (and sounding) videos we can with Phil (@daynightpicture). And even if my videos aren't viewed by millions, this kind of comment gives me the will and motivation to continue !! And thank you for checking the description, a lot of people ask for what kind of pedals I am using etc … without checking the description ! So thank you very much ! Cheers from France !

@@eliaselias4647 totally and that’s why it’s pretty frustrating. The quality isn’t what KZread aims for. If I would produce my video 20x faster with 20x less quality, it would be better for the algorithm but not for my standards 😅

Unfortunately, HLB didn’t release any drum sheets, I did all by ears ! You can check what is called Nail The Mix, this song was on a past month and there is the drums multitrack with midi for shells. Thanks man ! I did years ago a soundcheck of my starclassic when I first received it ! But with triggered kick : kzread.info/dash/bejne/oJ-qrZezpbe7ntI.html Almost ten years ago, I really didn’t have the skill I have for mixing and « over » produce things, so it is clearly more of a « raw » recording with EQ, slight compression and reverb compared to what you hear on that cover. And if you want to hear a full acoustic song, here is a cover I did without any trigger : kzread.info/dash/bejne/n5ep265um6u9itY.html And here is the drums only : kzread.info/dash/bejne/h3xruNWRYrLYmJM.html And in a few weeks from now, there will be some changes …. So you might have a fully raw recording ! Stay tuned !
