9:32 "Working with a baby had its problems, but then I tried directing chickens" This was way too funnier than it needed to be lol
They definitely don’t make films like this anymore. It’s just amazing. Now everything is just CGI. What a genius Jim Henson was. And the cast was just perfect!

Yup, Legend and Never Ending Story too were great stuff as well
It's great how you can actually hear a little Kermit in Henson's voice. The man was a Legend. Thank you Jim Henson. you made my childhood complete. I saw this in the Theater when i was a child.
I can't believe Jennifer Connelly was only 14 years old in this movie
Wow it’s very impressive. His back and arm must have been killing him. I used to think it was special effects and David was just waving his arm around, he did such an amazing job. Imagine how frustrating that must have been after probably hours and hours of practise I love this movie even more now
This IS REAL HUMAN ART. Completely different from THE CGI SHIT they make today.

Im healthy but I want him on my wall to allway,'s have him around in my Memories of him and Jennifer such a beautiful romantic enchanted dance I wish they had those ballroom dancing here oh would love it ❤️💜✨💜
Still to this day, all the best movies were made in the 1980's - Labyrinth, Dark Crystal, The Goonies, - and to the opposite end of the scale -, Hellraiser, Terminator, and so much more

Seeing this behind the scenes in the 80s before I saw the movie itself lead to an obsession with this movie and my first girl crush.
Must've been Stressful and Fun at the Same time to shoot that Movie
I gotta look for this movie. I miss Hoggle, Ludo, Sir Didymus, and Ambrosius. With Jim Henson speaking, I could close my eyes and feel like I was little again watching an episode of Sesame Street.

This is one of the greatest and most creative hard work films ever made. I miss such beautiful work put into movies. You won’t see very much well made movies these days.

Got so emotional watching this, maybe a mix of nostalgia as well as an appreciation for the effort and enthusiasm and creativity people showed. Taking ideas and building on them to make them better is the true meaning of teamwork and it shows through in the end product
Jim Henson is one of my favourite people of all time and Jennifer Connolly was my first crush. This film is pure magic
this footage is addictive and unmissable it is a real gift because it shows two stunning individuals.... one of the greatest musicans and singers of all time and the other one of the most beautiful and gifted actresses of all time.....
Love this movie❤

I am glad that Mick Jagger is not playing that Role of David Bowie. David Bowie would of not 🚫 been happy for one look at Micks age.. Go by Jennifer's age and than some years to that blonde hair at least someone who has his hair or close long hair. I am a huge David Bowie fan I collect his collection of Labyrinth. Jennifer is Gorgeous even older don't match her with a too old man fans want someone similar study actors series and you can find a lot of blondes please make David Bowie family proud thank you Melissa very excited for Labyrinth two.Thank you for all the time you put into this it will be so amazing if you choose slowly ❤️🌹❤️🌹
Audio cuts out at 18:43 and resumes at 19:58 And later on at the end of the video as well

The title sequence uses computer graphics, but that is beside the point. The computer is just a tool, it does nothing on its own (and only bad tradespeople blame their tools, be it practical or digital). It all stands and falls with the artists.
sound is a problem. not fair!!!

You can’t tell a bird what to do. You have to ask it to do what you want. Kids (babies) are easier 20 fold-IF the mother of the kid knows his triggers and actions words or y’know, has a bond with their kid? Cats, would be be harder for me. I’ve bonded with a few since the last one (…..)and I MIGHT have an idea how to persuade them? I never tried to teach a cat. I feel guilty even asking all I can of them to get them into a crate for vaccines. Cover blown
