FLOW CONTROL puppies are supposed to stay with mum not just for milk but also for vital social skills with other dogs, the best companion for a dog is another dog until at least 8 weeks

Anyone who wants to buy/adopt a puppy please read this. I bought a lab a week back, 1 month old as the breeder said. She was very active and playing with full energy, just like any nornal lab puppy. Next day after I gave her food to eat, he slept, while sleeping he got seizure attack. A white fluid started coming out of her mouth. I immediately took her to vet, he gave a saline and 2 injections, I don't remember the name. But it didn't improve her condition. She was getting seizure multiple times, I couldn't see her like this. I again took her to a vet and he did the same procedure again. She was having difficulty in breathing. I sat beside her for straight 8 hours. She got so weak that she couldn't even stand on her feet. While I was taking care of her she was getting seizure attacks, after about 8 hours at 2:00AM she died. I am crying while writing this I am so heartbroken even right now. It's a request, please dont buy puppies which are less than 2 months old. Don't bash me with hate I know dogs, I had a dog in my family earlier as well. I miss you lucy. 😭😭😭

Vishwajeet Singh I agree... Same thing happened to my puppy too. I named him olive and became a member in my family... In just one week he passed away. When I saw this video I couldn't control my tears. This puppy exactly looked like my olive.😭😭😭

He looks sad like he misses his family, way to young to be taken from mommy.

They are also building up their immune system at this time. Also, if you can, please get a pet from an animal rescue centre. These little ones need a loving home.

I am having the same situation! I wont stop talking about dogs, stick pictures everywhere,tell them how you would look after it and everything. Research it! Start buying toys and things for the dog, they wont be able to get the dog out of their heads! also i find the best thing is to show them some really cute puppy videos!

I've been trying almost all throughout my teen yrs to convince mom to get me a puppy. Nothing works! She's like Get a job first so that you can properly provide for your pup🙃

yes but it will not keep him from biting anything else ..... that age is the age he develops his teeth and tends to bite anything that comes to him ....so its better to cope up with the bites !

ok i got got my lab pit mix at the same age you did not sure why people are getting upset at this. my pup did fine as i am sure yours did. my puppy was the runt he is now twice the size of his siblings. Not sure why people are freaking out at your dogs age.

steviebleckley Of course if you take care of the puppy carefully, growth will not be a problem mostly . But imagine if you were separated from your mom after 10 days. That's what it's like for the pup. The puppy hardly knows the world. He/she needs mother's milk and proper dog behavior lessons from mom and siblings. He/she is home only with the mother at that age. It's cruel to separate them. And mother's milk provides the proper nutrients and immunity which nothing else can provide. If you get a puppy at 2 or more months, he'll/she'll be better behaved and healthier. If you really care for your puppy and love him/her, isn't it better to wait?

steviebleckley Go to the American Kennel Club website. Any responsible breeder and any vet will tell you that a puppy needs to be with their mother until 12 weeks for security, stability and socialization. Puppies are still nursing until 6 weeks old to build their immune systems. Your dog's immunity could be low and he/she could tragically get an infection or die prematurely.

Since most pet shops in India will try to sell the pup at 4 weeks as they start eating food...I would like to think that you rescued the puppy from the shop and I'm sure you will provide a good and loving home.

If i look in his eyes i see he is very sad. I can feel He miss so much his mum.

Owl Obi That doesn't make any sense. It is the smallest one in the litter which needs moms milk most. When my dog gave birth to her litter what I did was make sure the smallest ones got enough feeding time and that they were not bullied by the bigger ones during feeding. When one of my pups got a little sickly I made sure that each day she was fed first by the mom away from others until she got healthy again .

This puppy is WAY too young to be separated from his mother. The poor thing is not developmentally ready and will likely have certain lags for some time. People - just because a young puppy is cute is NO reason to "like" this way of treating an innocent animal.

This is DISGRACEFUL!!!!!😠😠😠 Who in the hell would get a puppy that is 4 weeks too young to be taken from it's mother??? Shame on the person who sold it...and shame on this beast for taking it!!!

I got my Lab pup at the age of 35 days and he had very limited activities, he wouldnt bite stuff off at hands and slept 60% of the day. He was pretty weak and the breeder we bought him from wasnt sure he wud survive. but thank God.

Yes you.can tell he's too young. Poor baby looks lost and bewildered. He should still be with Mama. Makes me cry for him. And when he's old enough to adopt please adopt.2. Dogs especially Labs are very social and need.a companion. He is adorable though. Maybe they had to adopt him out so young but my heart breaks for him.
