Our little Percy has just had his first birthday last week. He is the best dog in the whole world and has such a lovely nature. He has never chewed anything in our house or office. He has his own little basket of toys (which we had to weekly - old lemonade bottles, old socks) He puts himself to bed at 8.30 every night and sleep all the way through. We couldn't wish for a better dog. We love him to bits x

Very true, my 2 chocolate labs would follow me into a burning building. non and cancer is common and every lab owner will have to go through that one day. I understand your pain and I am not looking forward to that day, although I have been there before. All the best.

We once found a little black lab puppy shivering in the rain outside our house, we took him in and for the next 6 months he became the light of our lives until one day someone stole him and we never saw him again. Keep your doggy close and keep him safe. I often watch this video and Percy reminds me of him.

13 is a great old age, we hope Percy lives that long! It's sad though when they have to leave us, that's why we make our videos, right from day one. That's one great thing about technology that we couldn't do twenty years ago.

Awww.....Labs are such amazing dogs! I remember bringing my black lab home at 6 weeks old. He was a holy terror & tore up EVERYTHING! I literally thought he had ADHD or that something was wrong with him. My vet said....give it about 3-4 yrs & he will be the best dog you ever had. He was so right! He's laying right here next to me 10 years later 🤗

Lol, looks like a Black lab my family had when I was younger. She was the happiest dog I've ever known. I still remember her as a pup always so mellow and she gave great eye contact, lol. Gone but not forgotten.

My little lab is not even a year old, and I miss the days when he was this small... What a wonderful video. It brings back a lot of not so old memories.

I've had doggies all my life... until a few yrs ago when I downsized to a townhouse... and as I'm still working, never wanted to leave a pooch alone in the house all day. So videos like yours are just magic! And I thank you for making them! Good news is I retire in less than a year -- then I'm gonna dog myself up (maybe 2!) and move back to a house with a yard!!! Congrats --- labs are such doggie dogs!

I once thinked like that and then was so creatful that my dog is grown and healthly lab boy. Now that he has passed away i dont miss him being puppy i just miss him. I would give anything away to just have another day with him.

I miss my puppy every fuckin day even his almost 14! Years! Old! I'll be home this december for holiday cant wait to annoy him! My favorate pass time. You should Love your dog...... because once a puppy is always a puppy.

They are so funny at that age! Like an on-off switch. Go ballistic, then down for the count. Gorgeous pup!

Man-o-man I remember and miss having a little, wriggling, sleepy, sweet, black Labrador puppy!! Believe it or not my black lab, Galaxi lived to be 16.5 years old she was healthy up til her very last week.

Love that title...destruction & exploration...classic!

Ah yes, the puppy stage. When they're at their cutest but also the biggest pain in the ass.

My theory on why Dogs only live such short lives is God want them back Fast When I get home its hard to tell who's more excited me or the puppys. We all just kind of mash together in big ball of fur nose kisses and petting.

this video is an unintentional kubrickian homage. the fact that they had the shining on while a pupper is running around is quite the striking visual.

You can't help but love 'em. They are just so good natured and never meets a stranger. Can be intimidated by older dogs in the family. Bowtie outweighs him by about 55 lbs. and he's still whimpers and won't walk by him.

He's not sleeping... he's recharging...!

What a bundle of joy!!! Percy is beautiful. Our Chocolate passed in July. We had planned to wait until Spring for our next Lab. That plan went down when I laid my eyes on a gorgeous black girl. She will be coming home in just under 2 weeks.So excited. Your video brought back wonderful memories from years ago and soon to be again.

Percy is so beautiful. I have a black lab named Gunny and he is the best dog I have ever had. Labs really are amazing and are such an important part of a family.

I love black labs. I've had two and they were both very well mannered and super affectionate.

It was 1998 when Bruno my black Labrador came into my life. It looked exactly like Percy. I miss him so much. Rightly said by somebody in comments.... They come in to our life for a brief period and tell us how to live and enjoy life.

This video made me cry. My dog Bernardo just recently turned 9 and had to have tlpo surgery yesterday and this video brought back the memories of when we took him home at 8 weeks old. God I miss those times

Hi there! thank you for your comment. It is a big worry when our pets have problems so I feel your pain. Our little puppy Percy is now 9 years old too! He also had to have surgery (on both his front elbows!) is the best thing we have ever done, he is like new now! we also give him Glucosamine Tablets which are miracle workers (But you must allow a few months before they feel the benefits) he has been taking them for over a year now and he has never limped since. Good luck with your doggy and hope all works out well..... keep us posted. As a guy who shot (photographically) dogs for many years I have to say you have your hands full here. When outside always do your best to get the sun behind you or you will always fight exposure. Solid black dogs are the most difficult subjects. You’re very fortunate to have such an adorable pup and obviously dedicated as well to being great doggie parents. Hi, yes you're right there. Percy is five years old now and we still struggle with the light. Sometimes he looks so cute all curled up on the sofa.....and the photo turns out like a black hole. It's hard when you have to capture the moment. Thanks for your wise words. 🤘😘😎😃👍

Labs are the best dog breed. I've own a few amd they're amazing.

Black Labrador, golden rets, german sheperds, border collie & malamute husky are The Dogs in my opinion. If I were to have a dog it would've been a german sheperd or a black labrador.

Cute puppy, I have 2 chocolate labs as well, BEST dogs ever. Word of friendly advice: since labs are subject to hip dysplasia, I would gets runners for your floors to stop the splitting of the dogs rear legs. Understandably that carpets are gross and ugly, but at least runners for the main traffic area while he is growing to minimize problems later.
