These dogs are so bonded to their humans they're showing separation anxiety when they are left alone. Nike keeps going to the door to check if you're coming back for him. He's more concerned about that than the treats.

its the difference between puppy/very young dog and full adult.

The fact he went for the turkey as soon as you were in your car and probably looking the other way and that he made it back in time for your car to appear where you could see him is awesome. Great timing.

Cute boy... he was much more stressed about being alone than interested in the food

I had a poodle that would eat a banana over meat.

LITERALLY ME when left alone for whole days as a kid 😂 first super happy, running to eat anything tasty & forbidden (eg chewing gum). then waiting looking out of the window, then wining a bit when it gets too boring already 😂

Aww, he was so anxious being alone. Beautiful house, love the flooring. I was almost as happy to see you get home as he was. He's adorable 😍

Yeah, I adopted my border collie at the beginning of the pandemic. Worked from home, never got to leave anywhere due to quarantine. And now when I leave, she's beside herself. She's capable of sticking her nose to the door and waiting there for 3 hours straight, poor baby . We need to work on that.

New sub here! I’m so happy this channel popped up! We had a yellow Lab, Zeke, who was a complete goober! I miss him so much! They are incredibly smart! He would literally lose his mind when he heard fireworks. He would run through the screened in porch, bust open the screen door onto the deck barking his ass off, standing on his hind legs at times and absolutely loving it! His fave gig was dropping one of his pool toys into the pool and look as us like, “Oh no, well I GUESS I GOTTA JUMP IN A FETCH IT!! 😂🤣 He would do this even when we WEREN’T in the pool! He LOVED diving for toys, completely upside down, swim to the ladder and get out of the pool. My crazy boy. 😢 He was pure joy and brought so much love and life into our lives. I know he still comes to visit us.🥲 Much love to you and Nike!

I lost my precious Lab, Abby, about 2 years ago - she was VERY food motivated, but as she got older, she wouldn’t even eat her dinner if I wasn’t home - my boyfriend would put her food in the bowl & it would just sit there until I got home - she would then greet me & race to her bowl to eat her dinner ! Labs are the best- I miss her so much

Wow. Just amazing. I rescued a gorgeous golden, gave it to my handyman, he dropped her off the next day for me to babysit. That dog was suffering and in agony all day she was already so in love with him. Unbelievable.

@@kimberlyrainey771 Thank you so much - sorry for your loss as well - it’s just heartbreaking - I still have a Pekingese from my parents when they passed, so at least I have him, but Abby was the dog of my heart - April 1 will be 3 years & I still sometimes tear up thinking about her & looking at her pictures - she was just the sweetest, most loving, loyal pet

What a good boy. The poor boy was more concerned about his dad than anything else. Finding the food was kinda inconsequential, he kinda just came across it while looking for his buddy. So sweet

OMG, H-Y-S-T-E-R-I-C-A-L! loved the parts where he kept looking out the door before going on a tour of the house, over and over. Lol

My lab brings all treats to the door then lays on my bed to watch for me out the window. When I get home she eats them after I have acknowledged her. She won't eat unless I am right there with her.

The minute Nike noted that being "home alone" was for real he went like crazy straight to the turkey 3:00. He saw and checked the fruit four times and dismissed it, and only ate it until you gave it to him, smart fella. So funny! Nike's so cute, goofy and so active. Nike kept on running non stop most of the time, showing us the whole house, lol.

My black lab behaves similarly. They’re very loyal and bonded to the humans in their life. They have high anxiety when separated. Sometimes they’ll start chewing but a little kennel training will fix it. They’re amazing dogs. I’ve had dogs my entire life and my current black lab is by far my favorite. They’re a hand full but only because of their potential.

you have to love labs.they love without questioning.no matter how long they live ,they are always 2 years old.our family has grown up with 8 scattered across 35 years.our kids are grown and out on their own my wife and I retired together(teachers) and have #9&10...black 3 year old black male Nitro, and a 1 year old yellow Pegs. most have been rescued.we love them like they were our kids and there is VEVER a dull day

The way he runs around is like me playing Silent Hill or Resident Evil when I'm stuck on a level! xD

What a cutie pie. The pupper is cute too.

I love how he: Checks the front door, every time after having his treat to check his human. Finds all the places where the treats are kept and eats those. Destroys salad in search of treats. Doesn't even eat the fruits, even after checking them twice.... ❤️

Oh Nike, that was a lot of snacks in 15 minutes! Hope you were ok after all that. Thanks for sharing Garrett!

It's the ears in the air when he runs for me 😅😂😅😂 so cute!! I also have a black lab and she is crazy 😅!!

Gotta love how he keeps going back to the door to check if he’s going to get caught lol….
