Grew up in a small town near Armero/Colombia. I remember as a child seeing the ashes from the volcano in my grandma’s backyard. Very scary stuff.. God bless all the people going through this moment right now.

There's no way a small island volcanic collapse could cause a psunami 300' high to reach America east coast. Speed and mass at much higher levels than that are required. If some space rock of similar mass, traveling toward us 24000 mph and we travel at 17000 mph, well now that could do it. Look up to see the real danger!

The WHO is reporting that the volcanic ash from this eruption contains a new Covid strand known as the "Kaboom-Boom" variant. It is 10 times deadlier than the Delta, Lambada, Chinchilla, Kama-Sutra, and Sauerkraut variants combined. Layering 3 masks is not enough, recent studies show that only wearing a tight corset can help slow the spread of this new variant. This is because the tight corset constricts the blood-flow to the sinuses, which in turn prevents the person from inhaling the nasty Kaboom-Boom particles.

I call volcanoes the pimples of the earth. How's this? If you're draining oil and water and everything else that comes up with deep well drilling, when you're creating huge empty caverns that are spaces like deep lakes and rivers, draining the oil, wouldn't you think the earth's crust would settle down with gravity, and that pressure could be driving what lava is near the surface to erupt? That's a legitimate question.

Dear NBC and other American and even Canadian TV stations - WHY, WHY, WHY do you INSIST on smothering the heck out of the footage you're supposed to be showing with large, ungainly, poorly designed graphical elements? WHY?? You CAN use smaller, less obtrusive graphics you know, especially here on KZread,.. because not everyone has a 20inch screen that's 40ft away or because most viewers have bloody awful eyesight; they don't. Keep the graphics small and unobtrusive,...... please! :) Please, TRY to be user-friendly for the majority - no need to dumb it down or make it viewable to all but the most severely sight-limited folk! :)
