    Though he was amazing at it. 10-15 years when he tires of in ring work he could be another Fuji or MVP. Possibly better than both.

    Thing is though, if the character wasn't so dumb, he would be a fantastic manager with his skill set. Still a better wrestler obviously I'm not disagreeing, but he'd still be great as a manager

    Styles is well into his 40s, and is still killing it. You're only as old as you feel, and Knight seems to be feeling pretty good.

    Not to mention 40 isn't that far off from every top stars age Roman 38, Cody 37 , McIntyre 38 , Lashley 46 , Lesnar 45 , Rollins 37 , Strowman 39. To put this into perspective, aside from Lesnar and Lashley, all of these guys are so close in age that they all would be in High School together if they all grew up in the same town.

    The point isnt 40 is too old. The point is 40 is too old to build a long term star. Everyone listed here has been in wwe since their 20s on and off. They were built into stars. Except Finn who is a midcarder

    Everyone you’ve mentioned aren’t just starting on the main roster now. That’s the difference. All of them were on top in their younger years as well in the wwe.

    It’s obvious to anyone that LA Knight is the first opportunity in many years to unleash an organically grown megastar. He has that rare level of connection with the crowd and will explode when given the chance. He’s got it all, so, not sure why they keep holding him back… Stone Cold or Rock level opportunity right in front of them.

    Ever since he was in nxt he’s known how to control a crowd I knew that when he’d be stomping on some one and stop to do his L A Knight shit then go yeaaaa or when he’d be stomping on some one saying yea repeatedly The dude is just that good. He engages the crowd and that’s what greats are able to do. Not to mention make any gimmick given to him look easy. That stupid manager role should have never happened yet he made it look easy.

People think he exploded right after his Austin 3:16 promo but it still was a bit before he became a superstar after his king of the ring win. Of course we all know about Rocky Maivia before he joined the NoD and became the leader. Point is, rarely is there a new member of the roster who has immediately gotten over with the audience and has the mic skills to go along with his physical talent.

    Austin was 34 when he reached the WWF title with a bad neck. Like this guy said he didn’t have any bad injury. He can go for at least 5 years as a top star and go into the HoF

    He wasn't the only one. Hogan, Macho Man, Flair, Bret, HBK. All of those guys were 30 and over when they got the belt. Not everyone does their best work in their 20's.

    Austin was much younger than that when he started his build and was already intercontinental champion etc. That’s the difference. You don’t begin a hall of fame career at 40.

    He didn’t really but he put a picture of LA Knight on his Instagram. Cena always posts pictures with no context, he posted one of Austin theory years before he signed with WWE etc. Basically it made people think Cena likes LA Knight.

    Even if he's 39, if he hasn't suffered many injuries, he can well wrestle till his 50s. LA Knight can easily be this generation's DDP, reaching his big success in his 40s

    This guy can very well entire his prime in a very short amount of time. It's a shame he's 39, but I think he can wrestle well into his late 40's, maybe even early 50's. He looks very good for his age, thought he was like 31.

    Another crazy thing to consider about the whole age thing with him, is that Damian priest, who's been heavily featured and pushed, and rightfully so, is a month and a half older than la knight is. So pushing one guy and not the other, is really silly in my opinion.

    Honestly. DDP was one of my favorite guys in WCW. Just book LA Knight vs Austin Theory, DDP gives LA advice and motivation he already has along with one of his old vests, LA beats Austin, and we get a champ who can go against faces and heels no problem. It's a no brainer.

    Stone cold had just 4 years consistent run in wwe 1997 to 2001 .. still he became legend , Rock had just 5 years consistent run 1997 to 2002 . Still he became legend , all it takes is 4 to 5 years and u will be legend forever if u are THE GUY ..

    One of my favorites on the current rouster. Dude is so good on the Mic, moves so good in the ring and you love to hate him and then end up loving him. I don't understand why age is even a factor. 39 is not that old anymore , and there are 25 year old wrestlers that had to retire because of injury or lack of conditioning. There is probably nobody better on the Mic atm.

    You the Rock redefined the business from 99-03. Four years. This guy doesn’t even necessarily have to do that, but it shows that the right talent doesn’t need long to have a massive impact. Push him to the moon

    The rock was in WWE from 98-03/04, that's about 5-7 years and his legacy is still talked about today. Quality over quantity i see here.. Yeah!

    I personally saw max Dupri as like a d Mob kinda boss. I guess Vince would have made him super goofy but the way I saw the character and how I would have booked him, I thought it could have been dope.

    Who cares how old he is. Realistically Rock was on top for roughly 5 years. Knight easily can have 5+

    You're about the only one. That dumpster fire took months away from his career when he was hot down in NXT to come up to the main roster for that crap. Big shout out to Mace and Mansoor, wherever they are now.

    How many people are even older than 39 and still are active today… Sheamus who appears nearly weekly, McIntyre (38 but still…), Lashley, Lesnar… Even more that I haven’t listed.

    This is exactly why I’m glad Adam Cole decided to venture to AEW cuz I don’t think they would of allowed him to get out of a manager role like they had planned no matter how hard HHH would of pushed for it. And I love both companies and wrestling in general before any shade gets thrown in.

    Yeah he has grown on me. Stone Cold is my favorite of all time. It's obvious that's where Knight gets a lot of influence.
