Great video! These were such a struggle for me years ago when I first started growing these. Everyone scared me with saying no direct sun but I ended up leaving one in sun by mistake and found out they love morning sun and decline rapidly without it. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Tigrezz, Great question. It's a plastic hanging pot which use to have a different plant in it and l just recycled the pot. the cling wrap worked! i did as you suggested, new leaves popped in only few days! will it work for string of purple or hoya curtsinii?

Hi Ufarazuwasti, Yah!! That is awesome and thanks for sharing feedback on the tip. I find this technique works on any plants that need some extra humidity or warmth to grow faster. I keep seeing these pots full of this plant. I ordered cuttings, tried to prop etc, it never worked.

@@PlantNationMinh Thank you! I just found a huge plant from one of my favorite vendors on Etsy. Perhaps purchasing cuttings was the problem. I will do a tiny cutting and try it again. I am almost two years into the game so maybe I can get it right. I will try it in Fluval Stratum as I have had incredible success with that when propagating. It saved my constellation and Albo. Thanks!

Hi, Great question. Perhaps check the soil if it needs watering. If the soil is moist then check for root grow. Happy String of Hearts Gardening! ❤️

Any ideas why entire strands of leaves would keep shriveling up? I'm keeping up with watering and it's getting a fair amount of sun in a south facing window, even on the top of the pot.

Hi, Hmm that's unusual. I would suggest you check the rots for root rot. If there is alot of strands occurring then it's also good to propagate and start fresh again. Happy String of Hearts Gardening ❤️

@oOOoOphidian Yes,a great idea! Sometimes the nursery soil contains moss or grass compose which will hold to much water or soil stays moist for too long. Happy Gardening ❤️

Same! I will have healthy leaves thick plump and then suddenly they’ll shrivel and fall off! I’m doing everything I’ve read or has been suggested, it’s the strangest thing!

@@brookecardwell2288 for me it was that the plant needed a smaller pot than the nursery sold it in. It also had a powery mildew issue and spraying with copper fungicide helped that too.

My string of hearts jsut ISNT growing. At all. I dont know what else to do :(
