Important addition for better understanding for all: his legs are his arms.
Currently stuck on step 1 for about half a year. I am now able to reach the floor with my fingertips if i am warmed up and stretch for about 15 minutes prior. I only managed to reach my knees earlier, so this is a massive improvement, but flexibility takes forever to gain.

Are you flexing your quads, abs and hip flexors as you’re reaching for the floor? Those muscles need to get used to flexing in that position. They’re what pull your legs into the air and hold them there during the L-sit
What I’ve been looking for all this time - thanks man
From Spain... Your videos for learning are the best. Thanks you!
Funnily I could already do it but didn’t know how to teach it to my sister because I never practiced it. Your guidelines helped a lot! Thx
I'm glad he mentioned the hip flexor, quad cramp problem❤
Time to take those parallel bars out the box.... thanks for the motivation and instruction

@@stippystips9418Stop being such a pu$$y. He’s just telling him the truth. Not everyone’s as overly sensitive as you. Unless he’s a prehistoric Tyrannosaurus rex, his ability to depress and control his scapula, compress his core, is what’s holding him back. Most people lean forward on the L-sit anyway, internally rotating their shoulders, and their hips lag wayyyy behind their elbows. Looks like shit, and just about anybody can do it. A much more impressive L-sit involves externally rotating the shoulders, and pushing the hips forward by shortening the lats. That’s how you progress into a V-sit
Do seated leg lifts - they helped me so much
These are helpful. thanks
Perfect L sit tutorial
Bro I just woke up one day and did an L sit. It was an L day.
For me I can easily do the L sit on some level. The only problem is that I am not flexible at all and I can't fully straighten out my legs
If you guys have dumbbells big enough you can also use those
Leg day left the chat

I guarantee you’re hunching your shoulders, and your hips are way behind your elbows. Not very difficult. Try externally rotating your shoulders, and push your hips forward til they’re in front of your elbows. You need to flex and shorten your lats to pull it off, while keeping your scapula depressed and retracted (no hunching like you’re doing now). It’s got a steep difficulty curve but it’ll build a much stronger foundation for a v-sit 👍
I asked someone with strong legs to try and he did it on the first try while hanging from a bar though not sure it’s the same but it seems that - number one - it requires strong quads - number two - abdominal support
Never skip leg day, your upper body relies on it
Only thing im struggling with right now is the shaking, no matter how much i stretch and warm up i still can't stop it. A flexibility problem maybe?
