I totally love your report on L’Atelier. That is my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas and also it’s the best meal I’ve ever had in my life! You guys are great - and I’m 75☺️

Have to say-best meals ever for me is at Golden Steer. 2 reasons. 1. They are really good! 2. Both meals were FREE...I won both times ive been there playing video poker. First time for $160 (four of a kind) and $1,000 (royal flush)...So two free meals at an awesome steak house cant be beat.

It was so good, I had been wanting to go for years, so glad it lived up to my hopes and dreams haha. Next we will need to try out the other Joel Robuchon next door but that is $500 per person, so we will have to save up some for that.

Loved this video. Everything looked so fantastic and delicious. I'm heading back to Vegas in June and I was planning on going to the more formal Joël Robuchon but after watching your video, I'm now giving more thought to L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon.

OMG we so want to go to the big one next door, but couldn't go headfirst into the $500 per person at JR, but somewhere down the line we absolutely will have to get there some day. I am guessing you can't go wrong with either. If you do either please let us know!

Glad you guys ate there...one on my favorites in Vegas. Love the quail foie gras dish and the mash potato's omg! I try to tell people how good they are but you just have to try them yourself. Great video!

We are 100% MGM so Bavette's is our favorite steak, Sitting at the service bar inside the restaurant at Mayfair is outstanding fun ( ask for Mike), Lago was a super surprise on our last visit, L'Atelier Joel Robuchon outstanding, Prime Steak not so much, Best Friend fantastic, Lunch at Grand Cafe Milano (they have the same menu as LaPizza & La Pasta with great person service)

Bavettes was our first dinner together in Vegas, and I (Josh) have eaten there the most of any steak house in Vegas - so good, hoping to finally do a video there this summer. Prime was disappointing as well a little bit - also preyoutube days. We will need to check out Grand Cafe Milano - Eataly correct?

@@JoshRachael Yes Eataly. I think our favorite Hotel is NoMad, they always give nice upgrades and check-in is very personal. It is so less crazy there. We also love eating in the Bar at one of the corner tables at Primrose. The Englishmen, bar tender is the best. He has been there for 15 plus years, Monte Carlo days. I can't remember his name. But he always recognizes us. We have stayed at: Rio, Caesars, Flamingo, Venetian, Mandalay, Mirage, MGM Grand, Nomad, Aria and Bellagio so far. BTW...We have been follow you both for quit a while. Love your videos There are not any good video's of Bavette's on KZread except for Dale and Paula. Yours will do well. Great looking food little food,I’m a big guy, but overall the food looks fresh cooked very well and the ingredients works with the flavor in ,what the chef is trying to do,so you can have the best meal ever.

It was really good and the food was actually quite filling, since you are eating so many dishes over an hour and a half, think of it like a slow buffet :)

I am not the type of person who enjoys Lad Vegas. I adore French food and your meal looked intriguing. I am glad you really enjoyed it. I will stick to New York or Montreal restaurants for delicious French food.

Agree about not liking MGM Grand too big and chaotic for me. Their restaurants are pretty decent though and worth a visit

Joël Robuchon was a remarkable chef using Nouvelle cuisine to tantalize your taste buds - a full dining experience hard to find - thank you for sharing - cheers Chef Bari PS : Yum 😋

They fly in special potatoes from France, steam, hand peel, mill then use 1 1 ratio butter. There is a video on KZread showing it when Joel was still alive.

I tried to reserve a table for 3 weeks from today, and nothing available, even with MGM Gold status. So seems very early reservations are needed.

@@JoshRachael The main restaurant is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. The 24 course tasting menu is worth $500. I took my friend (Josh Skenes, the chef at Saison, 3 Michelin stars) and he liked it a lot.

I know this will likely make sound like a plebeian, but I’ve never even heard of this! Is it in a resort? Rachael’s nonverbal expressions were EVERYTHING! I live for a solid food-drunk face 🤤

When I saw Rachael being transported just by the condiments I knew we were in for a treat. (I wonder how much they would charge for just butter and black garlic aioli?)

All caught up on all your latest Vegas vlogs, and this final one did not disappoint. The $150 price tag almost seems a bargain in Vegas. I take it you only had water with your meal. I’m not a wine guy at all, so I’d do the same.

Wow thanks Brian for all the comments and catching up on our videos! Yea no drinks we figured we had to save some money somewhere. It was a good value for us, I’m sure a lot would disagree but it was good for us!

My hubby and I are going to Vegas in October and I would love to have this tasting menu…but unfortunately my hubby is not a foodie 😢 do we both have to order the tasting menu? Also, do they have filet mignon on the menu?

Oh dang hubby! I wish I could remember but unfortunately I don’t, I believe that one can do the tasting menu and the other can order off the menu but I don’t want to be wrong. We just pulled up the menu from the MGM website and recommend checking there since it seems like it changes seasonally. Really hope you can enjoy it!

If you stay at The Mansion at MGM Grand you can have this food as room service and the chef will do alterations.

Dumb question... If there is a food on the menu that you absolutely hate can you have it replaced with something else? For example, if you just cannot abide the taste of coconut ice cream, then can it be replaced with vanilla?

I do think they would be accommodating, as long as you're not changing like every item. It is all made to order so would think you could ask and get some exchanges.

Definitely not. We actually talked about how people might think that seeing the dishes but the pacing and the richness of the food actually fills you a lot. Shocking but true

This meal and that one are in another league for our food videos honestly. We enjoyed the atmosphere and service here better. We loved being able to sit and watch the precision in the food preparation and even interacting with the cooks after the rush. The wait stuff was amazing at explaining everything thing to us and not stuffy in any way. Michael Mina was a bit loud as we were in the middle of the room and we did not feel the waiter was as personable to elevate the experience. The food at both places were stupid good though.

Thinking of taking ny wife here for our anniversary. But I’m afraid its been hyped to death. Best meal of my life. Big words.

No doubt. It is truly the best all around meal and experience I can name honestly. Definitely small dishes so if you aren’t a fan of those I would say don’t do it for sure. I think it all depends what you are going for but for me (Josh) I still think it was the best.

It is quite a bit of food over time, but there definitely are some plates that come out making you wonder about the size - definitely a risk involved. I really want to try the big brother restaurant next door but not ready to drop a grand on 2 peoples meals...

I ended up going and I have to say I wasn’t that impressed. Definitely not the best meal of my life or worth the money. A lot of hype but nothing else.

I’ve never ate at that kind of restaurant do you leave a tip I have no clue we ate at the Mayfair is the most expensive meal we’ve had and I left a tip there but they were always around us

Typically we always have a reservation for Dinners in Vegas and do recommend it. Lunch and Breakfast we may wing it a bit but never dinners, especially since COVID

My goodness, it is so loud in there. Cannot imagine having to sit on a bar stool to eat a 300 plus meal.

It really did not seem loud at all when we were there, maybe just a way it all gets picked up on camera with us next to the window - unsure but it was not noticeable.

I’m (Rachael) the one usually with random facts so I think he (Josh) caught me off guard when he had a random fact!

I love the two of you but, with all that's going on in this world, 7 course little bites for that price, I would choke on it. So sorry but, I couldn't hold my tongue.

I keep thinking the woman is criticizing the taste and not the cooking technique. Maybe not much of a sophisticated palette.
