L.A Noire - Hollywood Road Trip

Ойындар

In this video i show you my first road trip on L.A Noire, and this road trip is a cruise around the streets of Hollywood showing some famous locations such as the crossroads, and some big theatres.
Just to make this clear, i am making these road trips because in L.A Noire not many people have time to take in the view and the graphics around the map, So i thought by doing road trips people would be able to see the views, the cars, the atmosphere of L.A Noire as most of the game you can skip to locations or your tied up in a case which is perfectly fine, but these videos will give you a chance to see something different in L.A Noire.
So this is a road trip around Hollywood, on of the most well known areas in America. So there will be a few Landmarks as i have said, such as the crossroads, and of coarse the "Hollywood land" Sign aswell as some classic Hollywood areas such as restaurants, studios and theatres.
The music used in the majority of the video is from L.A Noire, but there is some music at the end which is from the 40's-50's, such as "Rock Around The Clock". So if you dont like the music, suggest some music for next time. As I have tried to use the music most suitable to the time era.
The car i am driving in is a hidden vehicle named "Cord 810 Softtop" Its a fast, luxury car which fits in to the atmosphere of Hollywood.
The route i have planned myself as it goes round the main parts of Hollywood and gets some Landmarks and Awesome Areas included. It does take quite a few minutes to follow the route from start to finish, but it's worth it!
Problems with the video: Sorry its a lengthy video, but in my past road trips people are ok with it as it gives a longer and better experience of what a real road trip is like. And in the 1940's, this video can give a feel for what driving around Hollywood was like. And one last problem is the lag, theres not much i can do about this as alot of peoples L.A Noire on Xbox 360 keeps lagging and freezing, so i am sorry for some lag, there isnt loads but there is some slight lag. So to make it clear it isn't my Equipment lagging, its the actual game!
So I hope you enjoy the video! More L.A Noire road trips will be coming soon, some for specific areas, some for certain cars, so look out for them! Feel free to like, comment and subscribe!

It's a terrible injustice that there will never be a sequel to this great game

This game is incredible. They way they recreated 1947 Los Angeles is just unreal. Besides that the cases are great and there is good variety. I think that along with GTA 4/5 and Red Dead Redemption this is the best game ever made. I hope they decide to make a sequel.

***** Haven't you forgot about GTA 5? That one tops this one easily. L.A. Noire did a great job, no doubt that. But GTA 5 is much diverse, massive.. and it also feels more alive. There is tons of things going on and things to do. Just look at that scale of the whole map and it's acitivities, missions, challenges, collectibles, people, animals. All those cars to customize, propereties to buy, internet to browse, guns to buy, planes and helicopters to fly, not to mention you can also explore the ocean surface. Also check out the ''41 Mindblowing little things'' GTA 5 video on KZread to see all its little stuffs packed in that game.

Straight Busta! Animations and in-game activities isn't the only thing that contributes to a game world. No, above all, Atmosphere is the most important. The features you listed above could be implemented into any open-world game, including L.A. Noire should it have a sequel, but a certain level of detailed atmosphere is made out of inspiration and imports a person playing into a new world, of that inspired. There is nothing more a game can become than having a Player feel immersed in a new and inspired world.

Straight Busta! Team Bondi re-created the city of L.A. of 1947, and did an amazing job! It has many buildings/streets etc which looked exactly how it looked in 1947. That's what I meant with "the most detailed open world". Game like these are rare, GTA isn't.

Great idea, but my only concern would be if the current generation would be able to understand the 1940s era and the music. I feel that the younger generation would not really relate with the time, and may get bored with it. Also how could it stack up with the technology of GTA V? I may be wrong however. Anyway awesome game with great 1940s era replication, along with great detail. Very interesting game.

Yeah it would be a great idea, L.A Noire captures post WWII era America very well. I obviously didn't live back then so I wouldn't know firsthand but it is just as interesting if not more than how Grand Theft Auto presented the 1980s and 90s with their respective games. It brings back history and the different eras of American. I think a GTA game that takes place in the 1970s would be awesome too.

***** Yeah muscle cars would be cool too, and they could have hippies and people protesting the Vietnam war. Or make it in 1975-79 ( Post Vietnam and Gas crisis). The protagonist could be a Vietnam vet that has horrors from the war and he finds it hard to adjust to normal life so he gets mixed up in crime. The music would be kick ass too.

The Visual Recreation of L.A. is a thumbs up ! Loved the theatre you show playing ; "THE LADY FROM SHANGHAI, " and later a sign I believe advertising, "CROSSFIRE," GLORIA GRAHAME 1st Oscar nomination. Since. ".....SHANGHAI "wasn't released until June 9, 1948, therefore it's actually 1948, not 1947. What really made me sit up & take notice, was when you played Bill Hailey & the Comets, "Rock Around the Clock. " Now you tell me how someone can listen to a song on the radio in 1947-48, when it wasn't even recorded until APRIL12, 1954 ???

i had just been to los angels. The reason for putting "hollywood land" instead of " hollywood" is originally the sign was hollywoodland, but it was changed because there was an actress committed suicide by jumping off from the sign. Afterwards, "land" was removed. Thumbs up, this game really present a true los angeles.

Hollywoodland was the name of a housing development in 1923, and the sign was put up for advertising purposes. It was changed to Hollywood after it became an internationally recognised symbol for L.A. and to differentiate it from the 'Hollywoodland' housing development.

@abdallahsaeed2009 Depends, In my opinion there two very different games.. L.A Noire is a Crime Story as a Detective investigating cases like Homicide and Traffic, Where as Mafia 2 is more of a crime based mafia mob game which is built around a story of Mafia gangs. There both great games, but it depends which type of game you like better.
