Trivia : notice how as she kneels she caught her earring, its in her left hand as she goes on, look at her right ear at the end no more earring. 😃🤣She said in an interview that she felt it slid off her right ear, she didn't want to lose it bcoz it isn't hers it belongs to the stylist who prepared her make up for the show. Yet her performance is flawless, no trace of anything awkward in her singing & movement. Her presence of mind is AWESOME, AMAZING! Song arrangement is her idea too bydway. I'm not sure if what I heard was true but the reason why KZ was so versatile was because she used to be a belter singer and something happened to her throat, I think, so she wasn't able to belt like she used to do and tried to find other genre that suits her voice but she thinks everytime that it is not the right one when she tried another genre until she mastered all the genre she tried😅😅. So no doubt why KZ was such a flexible singer.

OK. You are seeing that every performance from this show lets every artist on it show their best so basically anything from that season is worth watching. You've already seen Hua Chenyu's Nun Chucks but if you are a Jessie J fan you have to see her performance of Purple Rain that Hua beat that night. You might not recover. Also of note and truly unique is a Mongolian singer called Tengri who did a version of his song, Heaven that will chill you. There is a version on KZread of that performance with lyrics that show you why he was so passionate about it. But not to leave KZ out of it, everything she did on that contest was superb. As is the case with Jessie, coming full circle. And don't get me started on that shirt again. Edit: I dont understand why it says there are 3 comments and I only see mine but to hell with it, I'm claiming first. I don't know why but it seems to matter to some people and I've never done it before.

purple rain is a MUST!

It took me a lot of listens to fully appreciate KZs intro to this song. It is the darkness and pain of lost love slowly turning into anger. Coming out of the dark. I think it is absolutely brilliant. She won this episode. It was her first performance on the show. It certainly was an excellent introduction. There is a video of her meeting Jesse J, her idol, that is interesting. KZ is under 5 feet tall. Next to Jessie J she looks like a child.

lol it was just an effect for artistic purposes. bet you didn't finish it

Autotune sucks, but here it was used visibly and without disguise for a clear creative reason, vs being used for the crime of disguising a crap singer. I agree ideally it could have ended sooner, but I'm not sure there's a proper break in the song.
