I'm not sure if what I heard was true but the reason why KZ was so versatile was because she used to be a belter singer and something happened to her throat, I think, so she wasn't able to belt like she used to do and tried to find other genre that suits her voice but she thinks everytime that it is not the right one when she tried another genre until she mastered all the genre she tried😅😅. So no doubt why KZ was such a flexible singer.

KZ totally owns any song she covers. I really enjoyed your reactions so far. If you’re looking for inspiration for a new reaction, I can recommend Hua Chenyu who was on this season of The Singer with KZ and is also a wild trip. The first one of his I heard was Nunchucks which hooked me but Qi Tien is where his journey on this show started.

I've already posted a list of recommendations for my picks on another video so I won't tire your eyes with repeating it. As a small aside, one of my recommendations was Heaven by Tengri. He is the older guy in the blue suit with the big smile on his face during the performance, should you watch it again. But what I can't wait for you to react to is Jessie J's Purple Rain. You might think you know Jessie J. but the Jessie on this show is a different animal entirely and in that particular performance - untamed! Repeat for Killing Me Softly. Seconded. It's revelatory. Knowing Jessie is a good pop singer is different from seeing proof she's probably the most underrated singer in the world (which that show proved). Suggested listening order... probably... I Have Nothing, Purple Rain, My Heart Will Go On, Ain't No Mountain High Enough, Reflection. Roughly chronological order, but skipping the performances that are only Fantastic (they're all at least that) and focusing on the ones that are Epic.

Yes, definitely react to any of Jessie J's Singer 2018 performances and the rest of KZ's as they are all "epic!" Also, I would recommend checking out the other Chinese contestants. This show attracts elite talent due to its 200 million viewership and many of the most memorable and "bad ass" live performances I've ever seen are from this show. Two other contestants (&performances) you do not want to miss: Hua Chenyu- "Nunchucks" He's like the Chinese male version of KZ: mixes many genres into one song. Tengri - "Heaven" Will make you feel like you're discovering music for the 1st time...extremely moving.
