I just learned of this a couple weeks ago from another channel.. it will be a game changer for the ol USA-1.. the company makes stuff for all the big monster trucks.. can’t wait to get it out to do monster truck things

No they’re awesome trucks, fast, handles well, but they’re heavy, and more meant for straight axle monster truck racing, not bashing. The Kyosho bell crank steering is their biggest downfall.. we’ve beat this thing hard and although it breaks stuff it’s very tough. The worst part of owning these is Kyosho parts availability

Awesome improvement! That video was really well shot too! Kyosho had some terrible steering designs like the design of the Raider! It makes you wonder what their engineers were thinking!

Thanks brother, I’m trying to improve my shooting and editing skills lol.. yes couldn’t agree more their system of bell cranks, linkages and arms are way too over thought

Great job Thad. The former steering is relly complicate. As if they hadn't learned from the Clod. Rje new mount should do the job better

Yeah you buy another one of the mounts and a Y connector and a second servo. The axles are identical

It’s the 35kg ZOSKAY servo from Amazon. They’re awesome.. 486 oz in of torque, metal geared and waterproof

@@IowaBudgetRCBashers I picked up the same servo saver as yours the HR SHS88H model but for the stock servo so I hope it works lol 🤞

@@theRCLlama it will. You’ll get 3 bushings for it. Use the one with the F on it.. it’s 25 spline futaba style
