I hope diffs are better than previous Mad Force and FO-XX, they were weak even on 4s, I had to decrease the punch setting to make them last a bit longer. Diffs were the same as the Inferno MP7 and Neo if I remember right. I also remember Kyosho had the hardened steel one as upgrade, both for spider gears and bevel gears, they were better but not bulletproof. Not the best platform in the durability side, but sure it was fun as hell 😈, on 6s probably it can do standing doubleflips 😂. I don't like the new wheelie bar but for the rest it seems quite an improvement.

I'm really surprised they put a max 10 SCT in it. I'm pretty familiar with these ESCs and 11 lb is a lot of truck for a max 10 SCT

Same esc as the Inferno Neo 3.0 VE, I put a 19tooth pinion in mine and ran 48mph. Saw someone put a max 8 in and ran 70mph, motor is 6s capable too! I assume the motor in this would be too?

I'm so glad that all these companies are starting to release more solid axle monster trucks. The clodbuster and the smt10 are nice, but the losi LMT and now this thing, is like a breath of fresh air for the hobby.

Kyosho is a bit of an underrated brand. I still have my og USA-1 I bought new in 1991. The Clodbuster and the USA-1 were the only big tired 4wd monster trucks at the time. Getting mine running again is this winter's project.

Seen a Clodbuster way back in the day! Lusted after one for ever! Barely resisted the monster truck bug! Back then we’re talking 2 - brushed 540 motors, 2 - 7.2 volt ni-cad batteries. About 50lbs, appropriate run-time…. 3 minutes! 😂

I had a Clodbuster a while back… I was a bit underwhelmed with it, so turned it in to a Clodzilla

Another amazing awesome video this RC Monster Truck is awesome another one I want to pick up and get that looks like a piece and wicked fun thank you again for these great videos that you put out I'm learning a lot more getting back into remote control cars off-road and Street getting back into it I used to be really heavily into it when I was younger

This looks amazing. I'd be too scared to drive it since it looks so good and I wouldn't want to mess up the body lol😅

I've always loved the crazy stuff Kyosho has been doing for all these years. As always, have fun.

Hahaha!!! Thats exactly the first thing I saw too! I mean, the RC is cool and all, but that bike is clean! One day I'll relive my youth and buy another monochrome GT Performer with black mags. I miss that bike so much! My dad gave it to a coworker to give to her 12 year old son in the early 2000s when I moved out. I left the bike there only because I was moving to an apartment. He didn't realize what it was worth lol.

Thank you for this great content that you put out and I really appreciate it a lot I look forward to getting some of these RC cars that you have in your collection they look Wicked fun Wicked, and I just can't wait to get them

Nice! I've got a KYOSHO MadForce, nitro and 3-speed chain drive - even after all these years the engine still starts so easily. It's a great truck. Huge, same chassis as yours there. The only weak spot I found were the steering link arms, for its weight bouncing around on corners etc it'd pop off the rose joints. I simply removed all the narrow link arms and made a U shaped bracket bolting it to the suspension near the axle and mounted a servo directly there, making my own chunky steering arms to each hub - problem solved. Much better!

Oh I do hope they will make millions and upon millions of these, because they will be sold faster than they can make them! This one was my childhood dream rc car, I will have to save up to one, thanks a million for showing us this one!

I try to mix it up a bit.

I want one!!!!!! I have 2 nitro Kyosho USA-1s. I had the first one in the late 80's. I love it to bits. Bashed it, restored and mothballed it. Has been a shelf queen ever since. I recently bought another nitro USA-1 recently. Everything works, so had a quick run, but too fearful I might crash it. Spares are impossible to find.

Oh my word that is blooming awesome.. oh and wltoys take note, true speed on the box 😂 I am really impressed with this and that chain drive seems to work really well, I’m looking forward to seeing how the chain and truck holds up to off-roading,, I’m getting rid of my typhon 6s as it doesn’t really do much for me, hmm this could well be its replacement.. looking forward to the next video on this one for sure 👍

Awesome fun… I expect the Nitro will give a bit more enjoyment with all the noise.. but not sure it will have the Brushless instant torque

I'm getting back into RCS it's been a long time I was maybe a teenager and a child and I was really heavily into all the old stuff from the 80s and little bit into the 90s and then I stopped I'm getting back into it cuz remote control cars are wicked and awesome and I have lots of fun brings back memories and thank you for this brings back tons of fun memories good memories specially how crazy the world we live in today and what's going on in the world this is so fun so cool thank you so much for this content definitely inspires me to get some really cool cars and some cool wicked stuff

I've got the Mad Force Kruiser, which essentially is this truck, it is a beast, and is one of the best Straight axle Monster trucks out there !!! Beautiful Rig, Boogie on !!!

@@TomleyRC I still have the predecessor to the USA-1, the Kyosho Double Dare. For that matter the Kyosho Big Brute is a predecessor as the 2wd variant. All had the same gearboxes and suspension till the USA-1 came along. I upgraded my Double Dare with USA-1 suspension as the Double Dare with 4wd/4ws is anything but stable. Unfortunately I have to resign that the Tamiya Clodbuster won the war. The good news is that it makes my Double Dare extremely unique.

I winced a bit when it skidded on it's roof. It looks amazing, looking forward to the next video of it 👍

Got mine yesterday (489 euros here in Barcelona) and it's really, really big. Videos or photos don't do it justice. You really need to see it in person and hold it with your arms to appreciate how huge and bulky it is. For my taste, the steering angle and suspension could come a little better adjusted from the factory, the rest is great. I love it!

Well, there are this guys in US competing outdoors and indoors with Solid Axles Monster trucks with a similar Layou but all reeforced and upgraded and it's just insane the indor Freestyle Sessions in an auto garage; the reach about 6 to 10 feet high jumps and respective landings(😬) on the concrete 👌👌👌❤ But you already should know their Channel 😁

This was sitting on the shelf when I went to pick my Traxxas Slash Ultimate. I did so much research on the Slash I had to make a life decision because of the poor quality after owning and original USA-1 and purchased the Slash, but I keep thinking about the Kyosho.

wOOHOO! That thing's a beast!!!!! Price ain't too bad either. Hmm, maybe I'll be needing an Xmas prezzie after all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty dang cool When ya have a bad landing or crash the parts pop off and you just pop them back on Put some loctite on your wheel bolts They are known to come off ✌️

I Want the Nitro Version!! Its almost 15 mph faster which is surprising. Nice Rig.
