I was the First One to do RC ADVENTURES style of film on KZread.. and now so many people are doing it... That is the very definition of INSPIRED and is the best honour a video producer could have. Cool Mini's. I remember when people used to laugh at me for taking my RC's out on the trail.. now, it seems to be the most popular style of RC (ground wise)

its 1:18 scale so no aftermarket parts yet and better off buying a Axial scx24 or go with the mini Z overland 1:27 scale

😂😂😂 for real! May not be the 2021 TRD PRO edition or limited...but even at 1:24 scale for an early 80s hilux runner, it still gets me rethinking financial life choices😅

OMG I have been waiting for this since I bought my Overlanders back when they were first released. I just wished they were 4WD. After all these years, the dream has now been realized!! Thank you Kyosho for constantly developing the Mini-Z series! I cannot wait for these to be available!

Dang! What a nice surprise! That gotta be a ton of fun! Congratulations on the launch Kyosho! Unlike the other Mini-Z's, the slow nature of a crawler will work very very well in small indoor-environments (like my rooms!) and if the conditions allow, you can even take this Mini-crawler outdoors! Two things that many current and new Mini-Z owners really will appreciate! Cheers!!

And the ground clearance. I overestimated the ground clearance on my Trueno, so my nonprofessionally installed carpet has too many bumps for it. Now I have to buy a track ^_^' No regrets, though :)

Cool. I was expecting a 1/10th scale. This will be perfect for indoor messing around.

I own a real 2008, and owned an 1988. Great 4 x 4s! When I saw this video I had to buy one. It was on back order for several months but It finally arrived yesterday. Really impressive and fun to run. I'm going to try making my own rocks that I can use outside or inside. I plan on lining cardboard boxes with plastic bags and fill them with great stuff foam which can be carved to shape and painted to look like rocks.

Hope they make a bit beefier version for a mini-z monster as well perhaps 180 brushed motor & some metal gears where its needed in the drivetrain.

Very nice Kyosho!! I honestly wish they would have set their sights smaller - like 1/32 scale. Building a 1/24 indoor course takes up considerably more room than a 1/32 scale course. That's why I love the Orlandoo Hunter models. Regardless, I'll be picking up a pair of these for sure, and I'm sure we will see a lot of aftermarket support for these little trucks as well.

This video they look smooth but I just watched a video from The Nurnberg Toy Fair the throttle doesn't look smooth on startup. I'm waiting for the reviews. I hope it modulates well at low speed, I love the look and am cross shopping an scx24.

Because there are SO many 1/10 scale crawlers on the market. There are only a handful in the 1/24-1/28th scale market, and none of those have the quality of Kyosho.

Why designed in California and made on Japan? Why not make the whole thing on California? It's so ridiculous. No jobs.

Just got an one, and it is pretty nice. Unfortunately within 24 hours the slipper clutch has gone out. Won't crawl up a 15° incline anymore. Not an easy fix on these tiny things.

Nice but, too small for me. I prefer 1/10 because I can put a camera and GPS so that if it gets lost, it can returns via the waypoints it created when going forward and can easily find its way back exactly the same way as it goes forward.

I suspect Energizer and Duracell trying to hold on paying Kyosho a fee to use AAA. Same thing with flashlights at stores. instead of including much more reliable, rechargeable 18650 batteries they use freaking AAA' s!

How many people get around with their eyes closed. 1970/80s and some 90 model Toyota hilux,surf/4runners have offset fucking front diffs it is not true to scale. I still have yet to see one

$250 for a 1/24...

SCX24: Lots of spare parts. Lots of upgrade parts and more in future. $50+ cheaper than this (plus you could a decent 1/10 crawler for that price of this). Bodies are lighter than this. This: will be hard to find parts. People will just buy for mini z nostalgia or brand loyalty. Overpriced. Heavy plastic bodies.
