I'm listening this SONG in April 4, 2024. Because i love KYLIE MINOGUE

This song released on 11th September 2000. I'm from Mumbai, India. I remember my parents playing this song on the audio casette on the deck (sound system back in the day) which consisted of Kylie's other songs as well - "Can't get you out of my head" and the like.... somewhere in 2001-2002 i guess...& I innocently grooving to the tunes & beats of this superb foot tapping music every time it was played at home or when we'd be travelling anywhere in my uncle's car without knowing or understanding the lyrics as I was barely 9-10 years old. For the longest time until few years ago, I had never watched the video of this song (or may have but can't recall) as back in the day, there were just 2 music TV channels in India (mostly urban cities) i.e. Mtv & Channel V which telecasted English songs. Hence, I grew up listening to most of these songs on audio cassettes and later audio CDs. What a vibe!❤ It's been 24 years since and this song still feels soo soo fresh, groovy and fun! (P.S.: Well, this song released exactly a year before the 9/11 attacks in the US. Just a thought that randomly clicked my mind while typing this comment).

This is one of the best songs ever and only 8,5 million views. She deserves so much more.

I'm sure everyone has a story to go with this song, so let's hear them :). I'll start: Towards the end of covid I had a friend from work ask if I wanted some help with a car that I was working on for years and despite not really knowing each other I said yes. We hung out in my cold garage from 11pm to 8am with nothing but a space heater and our phones for music and yet it still felt like it flew past. She introduced me to this song that night and now 3 years on we are happily married with a beautiful baby girl. I find myself coming back to this song and just remembering how utterly amazingly the lyrics encapsulated that night.

This is one of the few songs that I'll never get tired of listening to. After almost 25 years it still feels so fresh. When I plan to have a good night out, have fun with friends or go to some party, this song is the one that puts me in the right mood and ready for it. I like all Kylie albums, but the light years/fever era is her best and the one that really cemented her as disco pop royalty!!! Some random KZread suggestion of one of Kylie's songs suddenly brought back all those nostalgic feelings. Anyway, Madonna released disco dance music in the 80's before any other pop star and electronic dance music the same year along with Kylie (album Music). However I love Kylie to pieces and I adore this song but this is a bit similar to Jennifer Lopez's "Waiting for Tonight" which was released a year before, hence technically J Lo ventured into disco dance before Kylie, Britney, Gwen and all the other 00's great dominant pop-stars.
