The moderator was actually great because he was very impartial and did not interject. The debate was fantastic because it really highlighted the reality that conservatives have an objectivity problem. Charlie Kirk was destroyed.

Well ya, it's a politicon debate. I have yet to see a good moderator on here. At least he didn't try to become part of the debate like they usually do. I think everyone is getting so upset because this is probably one of the only debates were the moderator isn't obviously a liberal ganging up on a conservative. It seems people aren't used to that.

Less than three minutes in, and we're already "full throttle" with insults, accusations without proof, and misdirection... nothing new here!

Would you rather transparent government, or is it because it's the democrats. I would watch the entire 50 minute debate. This was one of Kyle's weakest topic. But I agree with people he definitely was childish in this topic. They both made valid points, Kyle said conservatives should critisize Trump for foreign affairs with Saudi Arabia and Kirk made a good point saying Trumps' kids should not have their revenue streams cut off because their dad winning president. This was one of Kyle's weakest topics. The whole debate Kirk 100% lost.

@@DumbleDoofus I watched it all. Kyle just kepts swearing and strutting around, taking little jabs and digs at situations he wasn't informed about, then acting like it was a mic-drop moment. You can tell Kirk was trying hard to keep his cool as Kyle didn't have any facts or ideas that could stand up to the fire, but Kyle kept strutting around.

If you're assuming malfeasance on your opponent like Kyle did here, you're not able to grapple with the ideas he's presenting. Debates shouldn't be a place for political potshots. This nation desperately needs to consider deeply the issues on both sides of the isle. But all Kyle does it "you're a trump puppet, you won't say he did anything wrong" rather than address the clear and concise details of the "talking point" For example, in the first minute, Charlie details how despite half the nation thinking Trump colluded with Russia, it was Hilary colluding with Russia, and Obama colluding with the intelligence agencies to spy on his political opponent. Kyle claims here Trump did the same thing; but Charlie had ALREADY pointed out that it was the Ukrainian president that brought up crowd strike in the first place to Trump in the first place, he knew it was corrupt, Biden wasn't even a candidate at the time to my knowledge so this wasn't Trump digging up dirt on Hilary... So Kyle wasn't even listening to Kirk here, which is necessary in a discussion. And the intellectual dishonesty exhibited in the first 2 minutes of the debate is why the country isn't outraged about what went on in Ukraine. Biden boasted on camera to brazen quid pro quo with taxpayer dollars to get his son off the hook of Ukrainian investigation. The DNC and George Soros politically and economically raped and pillage Ukraine for 4 years, and all the left cares about is winning so they don't even consider the corruption. Perhaps debates are useless, we need to stop trying to win for our team and start adressing the issues, start actually looking deeply at wth is going on in this country, most of the left has no idea why people voted for Trump, they just assume we're dumb, bigoted, racist, you know whatever the hell they say with no understanding of us. No instead Kulisnki goes on to say "everybody knows Trump runs the government like a mob boss" without providing evidence, an argument, a specific example. Trump's not perfect and every conservative admits that, but the sheer false accusations and ad hominem attacks aren't ok. If a morbidly corrupt career politican who did barely anything but grease his families pockets by getting in bed with foreign governments wins the election it will be the biggest scandal in the history of politics. The man can't even read a teleprompter, can't take questions from the media unless his team is in bed with them, can't debate, plays the grossest identity politics. The man would be an utter disaster for the country. And the only reason the country is in the shape its in today, is because the left right now are the worst of losers throwing a temper tantrum. The voters don't know a damn thing about Trumps promises made and promises kept. They've been decieved by an all out war on truth by the main stream media. It was pretty middle ground Charlie Kirk went on long rants that all had the same conclusion, while Kyle Kulinski (was very rude and childish) yet he did make a strong point about Saudia Arabia money through Trump Hotels. Kulnskis point on Trump's children was very very weak. This debate was only two topics and I think the score was 1-1. Kyle got the accurately criticizing both president for foreign money, and Kirk got Trump's kids shouldn't have to sell their revenue streams after their dad became president. I always forget why I never listen to Kyle and then when I see a video of him I immediately remember: the dude is just way too unhinged and emotional. I'm not saying Charlie is right about everything but he speaks so much more rationally and calmly. Kyle speaks from such a place of hate for differing opinions while Charlie doesn't diminish other viewpoints and instead calmly tries to dismantle the idea.

Everyone says Kirk was better prepared. It's easy to be prepared when you have the same 3 talking points. Throw them into heavy rotation, sprinkle in some nonsense, then hide behind technicalities. Kyle is a true debator because he refuted talking points with honest critiques and facts. Did he get belligerent, sure, did I approve of it, no. Why? Because those slip ups and outbursts are exactly what opposing sides will focus on and cite as an L. He actually did say facts throughout the whole deal. His first point about accepting foreign money through hotels is clearly something the right would criticize if Hillary Clinton did it. His 2nd point was weak, but his 2nd point was that Trump's kids should of suspended their current revenue stream in the same way that Jimmy Carter suspended his peanut farm when he became president. He didn't articulate this point well at all though, but the point is that Trump is basically a politician now, if a senator (for example) had kids making the kind of money that Donald Trump kids make, people would question it 100%. Kyle's first point was very strong, 2nd point extremely weak. Pretty neutral debate. But Charlie Kirk talked 4x as much as Kyle and Kyle still competed, so that speaks for something. Also watch the entire debate, this was one of Kyle's weakest topics. The whole debate Kirk 100% lost.

Kirk has been dismantled by people like Sam Seder, and Kyle beat him in this debate just not this topic. And I already said that Kyle's 2nd point was extremely weak and he probably shouldn't of even attempted to argue it. But his first point was spot on, If you can't criticize Trump for accepting foreign money because he's "already rich" but you would attack Hillary for the same reason you're delusional. But I can agree that someone who does this is childish, but does it discredit what they say? No. If Kirk cursed/insulted in the same way Shapiro smears during debate, I wouldn't raise an eyebrow. I would probaly even laugh a little bit. It's not a serious as people make it out to be.

Yeah, it was clear that Charlie´s hackery was getting under Kyle´s skin. Kirk clearly intended for that to happen, which is why he used the most obnoxious talking points he could think of. However, Kyle took the bait a little bit too easily. Also, the moderator was the big loser, making Kyle scream for every second of speaking time, while letting Charlie have a monologue about nothing.

@@jtstevenson81 It´s similar to the Cenk/Shapiro debate in that respect. People who actually know the facts know that Kyle won for the most part. People who only look at the format, and not the content, think that Charlie won because he "sounded better". People use that term because the Gish gallop is used specifically to rattle off a whole bunch of incorrect/incomplete information in as short a time as possible. it´s supposed to make it harder for people like Kyle to respond, and to give people like you an illusion of expertise. The most famous user of that trick on the right is Shapiro atm, although Charlie is giving him a run for his money with this performance.

For example: 1. The US became a nett energy exporter in 2011. Kirk said it was under Trump 2. Participation in food stamps has been on the decline since e 2013. And the number off them is 3.9 million. Again Kirk game Trump all the credit 3. Kirk blamed the Dems for the fact that the tax cuts are not permanent for the middle class, but didn’t explain why they are permanent for the wealthy 4. He claimed the Trumps haven’t done deals while in office while Kushner secures loans from the UAE and Israel. 5. He claimed there are more jobs but didn’t mention that this is because full time jobs are being replaced with party time jobs. The list goes on

He was childish in this debate, but most people can look past the language and dissect the arguments. I think the score was 1-1, and the debate only had 2 topics. Kyle got the accurately criticizing both president for foreign money, and Kirk got Trump's kids shouldn't have to sell their revenue streams after their dad became president. Also watch the entire debate, this was one of Kyle's weakest topics. The whole debate Kirk 100% lost.

It's hilarious how I called you out on a conspiracy theory, and now you're the only person emotional. It's a common trend I have when arguing with republicans. If you think no one agrees with me just look at the like/dislike ratio on CHARLIE KIRKS youtube channel. That is his own channel and he almost got more dislikes than likes. That is impressive. If you look at Kyle's channel it's like 11+k likes to less than 2k dislikes (but this is biased because it's his fanbase) compared to Charlies 800-680ish (which is also biased and Charlies fanbase LOL). Most logical people can see past a couple cuss words and actually dissect the interior arguments from the debate.

Mac Johnson They’re not super inefficient though, they do a decent job. plus they fund pensions 75 years in advance. Sure there’s ups, fedex etc but they don’t have to cater to every single person, there’s routes the USPS do, which they’re forced to do to provide access to mail for everyone, which for profit companies wouldn’t since they’re inefficient costly routes. I don’t think it’s as black and white as “usps is inefficient and fedex and ups do a better job”

@@zeeylo yeah you’ve got a point. I think the point he’s making with usps is that without privatized competition not matter what the government does it’s going to be costly and time consuming. I mean DOT for example is “efficient” in the sense that yeah we have roads but the amount of people just standing around is ridiculous. Of course that’s anecdotal but with a private business (which I have) it’s unacceptable to have guys “just standing around”. I mean it is our tax dollars essentially being wasted. And at the end of the day a private company will 100 percent of the time be more costly and efficient. The idea that “oh well the government is doing it so it’s ok that it’s not AS efficient as it could be is asinine and eventually unsustainable. Money is a finite resource and eventually it will run out. Cause it doesn’t just come out of no where.

I think most people see respectful discussions differently, but it’s very difficult not to take satisfaction when someone who’s constantly insulting his opponent gets smacked down.

Kirk used a coward debate technique called gish galloping. In other words, he yaps and filibusters endlessly so his opponent cant possibly respond to everything in time.

Mido having too many arguments and talking too much are too different things. He sets up “straw men” arguments that basically serve to allow him to expand is response in a way his opponent cannot respond to everything he’s stated in the time given. Especially when the moderator is lopsided and allows him to just talk over time but then call time on Kyle.

Kyle’s only argument was to attack Charlie. Kyle’s only means to exert his sense of superiority was to use foul language. Kyle’s only defense for lack of actual facts was to say he didn’t have time or means to cite actual evidence. Hmmmm... all these tactics are so familiar... Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzenski, Rachael Maddow, Jeff Zucker, Brian Stelter, Don Lemon... to name but a few

The difference to is that Charlie uses actual facts and statistics to back up his claims. All Charlie did was use personal attacks and speculation. It’s not hard to see which debator actually came prepared and sounds more intelligent.

Kyle was unprepared for Kirk’s tactic of sucking the oxygen out of the room and denying his speaking time. If he’s done his homework on Kirk, he would have been able to counter most of Kirk’s flake taking points. I think Kyle went in to this debate too confident

But he definitely got the short end of the stick in terms of speaking time and it's just non-sense to say he doesn't have his own opinions. He is a self-described free-speech absolutist for one whereas Kirk is a weasel on that issue, working to find reasons to be against it when someone is saying something he doesn't like.

Kyle is about emotion and Charlie is all about facts. Kyle didn't come prepared and he was out matched, big time!

When you use the F word in a debate like this, you just lowered you to another level and put your opponent on a pedestal. Period!

It's hilarious to see how Charlie Kirk thinks he was winning by his filibustering and steamrolling with his stale hackey talking points, while Kyle has consistently took him down in a far shorter moments and with fa more substance. Kyle still could have been stronger on a few occasions, but i think all in all he simply did prove that the emperor has no clothes, then offered him undies, only to give him a wedgie once he was wearing them.

I would say Kyle one in everything but substance he didn't have any and a lot of his stuff his stats are misleading he was called on it and just moved on. I like Kyle I like that he actually debates and has middle ground but all I see is him exacerbating the true things and pointing to things everyone does and saying Trump is somehow worse for doing them. I mean if you want to fight corruption that's fine but things have to change first and then people get in trouble not the other way around

@@chriswalsh6893 What you said about Kyle calling out Trump alone for stuff everyone does, is just horsecrap. Kyle has been consistent on calling out Democrats just as well and just as hard. However, in this debate Charlie is trying to strawman him everytime by calling out 'the democrats' and equating them with what he thinks are Kyle's view points, which they often aren't at all. Charlie wasn't substantive at all and got called out on it several times more. Charlie did talk a lot only to present the typical standard case against the Democrats and for Trump, but he can't even admit wrong doing. Kyle can at least point it out when Democrats are in the wrong and he says so. He's often furious about it. But Charlie can't even admit it, and instead he points to Democrats doing this or that, but never ever can he see that he's railing against the Democrats, but Trump did the same and far worse things. He's simply not principled and his logic simply leads to whatever it is, when Democrats do it, it's wrong, but never when Trump does it. And it only is made worse by the fact that in fact a President should be held to a higher standard. None of the Democrats were in office, but Kyle is furious when they do something wrong, however , Charlie can't even admit that Trump seriously was in the wrong and on top of is he's the one who's in office and who should be leading by example. And then I think Kyle even went to easy and nonchalant on Charlie because he didn't even really delve into the multiple other offences that are on Trump's list, while what you saw from Charlie where the only few things he could point to. If Kyle would have pointed to the rest of the list it would have been far clearer. Nonetheless, Charlie was there as the one who was so eager to paint a good news show for Trump while sucking him and his donors off. Charlie was simply totally disingenuous and Kyle did make a good case and exposed him.

Kinda agreed. It felt like Charlie was getting all the time to talk and Kyle compensated for it by resorting to simple one-liners. Also it's a political debate and instead of actually debating issues they debated wether Trump is corrupted or not for the whole time.
