*Notes* 1. Have a purpose in the first place. 2. Take notes in your own words. 3. Divide the page into two parts, Part 1) CAPTURE- In which you simply take notes about the content. Part 2) CAPTURE- In which use your active brain to co-relate the facts, data from the records, it also includes feelings and imagination about the content. 4. Use TIP Think Identify - filter relevant information. Prioritize - relevant information. 5. Review the notes. 6. Use Kwik Brain memorizing techniques. 7. Teach and share the notes.

There are mnemonic devices like breaking down words and associating with the things u are familiar with, like visualizing in your head, for example: the Spanish word for cat - "gato" - can be broken down with a gate and then a cat sitting on top of it, u should be remembered it. U can visit Jim Kwik's video on the F-A-S-T method, I hope it helps!

if you are reading comments before you listen, then i suggest you split your paper in to two sections (his idea not mine😊) by drawing a vertical line in the middle. left side capture info, right side create your notes... for now write on the left side what he says then you will hear what to do on the right side.😉

So what I learned in here was: you capture information on the left side and you create a note on the right side of the page. You create notes on the right side by jotting down your questions that would help you when you teach it, what you feel, and the impressions you have. And the TIP he gave was T think; I identify; P prioritize. At last, Don't forget to review the note!

Here are my notes: - Know your purpose for taking notes. - Textual hierarchy: Show what's important. (Highlighting, italics, bolding, ect) - Be organized. - Use your own words. - Simplify information (acronyms, symbols, ect) - You retain more information when taking handwritten notes. (Because you're forced to prioritize what you write down and therefore are also forced to process the information more) - Bonus Tips - Review your notes. - Summarize your notes - Quiz yourself. - Teach others what you've learned. - Create and Capture - Take a piece of paper and draw a line vertically through the middle. - Left side (Capture): Take notes - Right side (Create): Create impressions. - Ask questions. - Make observations. - Ask how you'll use the information. - Make drawings. - T.I.P - Think: What do you want to retain the most. - Identify: Find the most important information. - Prioritize: Prioritize relevant information.

If you are studying for an exam, it is a humble request 1. Not to cram ur notes, rather understand it 2.Divide ur content into modules. 3. As Jim said, use abbreviations for memorizing info. If u r struggling with maps, I encourage you to watch a KZread video on the same or rather practice from your textbook to get the useful results. Best of luck :)

You can even relate the content given in your book to real life situations going on around you. As it is a fact that if you relate something u don't know to something u know, you will be able to grasp the information easily.

Believe it or not ... Simply Just Tell Her... That She is Genius !!! Again & Again ... Teach Her In More Meaningful Way.... I Mean... Most Things that are Exist in her Textbooks... Are Not Exist in her Real Life ( That's is Biggest challenge for Her) So Combine --> Maths + Real life ( Specially the things that she like... playing , watching cartoons, cycling ) Then Maths = Fun + Enjoy !! For her... First Give her Confidence... because the Mind cleaning is the most Important Thing !!

Tell her to watch various KZread videos related to the concepts. The KZread videos help us to understand the concepts in a practical way. That way she can even relate the concepts taught to her in her real life such as Profit and Loss, Ratio-Proportion, Simple-Compound interest, etc.

What is fluff? Yes. This is a broad question. But, I'd say this may be the key component of why I have a hard time even choosing to want to take notes, rather than just attempt to interpret the information verbatim. Without an explanation of what that word even means, why bother doing the other parts? How do you decide what is key information in comparison to not?
