I came here today because KV and the Violators are playing soon at the Glastonbury Festival in England, where a close associate of mine is also performing. I am old and way out of the loop. But when I heard the name Kurt Vile and the Violators it cracked me up, doubled me over and had me rolling on the floor. Do all of you get the pun? So I came here to see what KV was all about. Very nice stuff.

*this is the most important musical performance in my life*

Love these guys, love the vibe and the tunes... I have friends that say there is nothing good happening in music. Hunt around a bit; there is stuff happening now. I hunted around and heard Kurt Vile!

i love watching all these live performances from all the different bands, ive been doing it all night

seriously, there are more good bands out there now than ever before it seems like. The access to become a band is so much easier now with youtube and the like. People need to stop complaining about todays music and find the stuff they like out there and disregard the rest

Best session in KEXP for me. In this one Kurt reminded me Lou Reed in Andy Warhol's screen test.

It feels special hearing him saying he's going to travel to Australia for his first time knowing that his partnership with Courtney Barnett began on that tour

yeahhh yeaah yeaahhhhhhhh.... ahhhhh yeahhhhhhhh lol. seing this guy live was something else, I am hoping to see him twice more this fall. He really does tour like a madman.

I've come to the point where I can't relate to modern guitar music anymore. Kurt Vile is a rare exception for me.

How can you not sound awesome wih a randy rhoads shirt on?

Lead singer looks so much like Lip from Shameless.

i often find myself losing my faith in modern music, sheer frustration at all the utter shit that stains my ears . . . then i take a hit of this or some other great new band or artist and forget about the non contenders. viva la modern music.

Drummer is amazing but was fired by Kurt Vile without any reason I heard from several people
