This stuck out most to me too and him saying he has to keep things candid...organic Wise words for Monday Morning! So happy I watched this documentary
These short documentaries are so dope! To the guys who put this together over at Matador - thanks a lot for doing it!
Kurt the type of guy to tell his own fans that his earlier stuff was “better”

i thought he was talking about his earlier takes. like if he works on a song too long he still prefers the first versions
we lost rob yesterday, may he rest in peace, and forever live on through his music. 💔💔💔
Bassackwards on the porch in the pouring rain is devine ❤
The only shitty thing about this Doc? Length. I would gladly sit and watch an hour and a half of this. So great. Thanks!
such an epic guy, one of the most unique sounds. i can listen to the same albums of his over and over and always find something new to appreciate in the music every time i listen.

R.I.P. Dallas Good lead singer/guitarst of the Sadies. One of the Best live bands ever. Kurt knows.
Kurt on the porch singing with a guitar is one of the few people I would want to be nearby when they are... on a porch.... singing... with a guitar.

KV embodies what I appreciate about about alternative music. He is real, fallible, and honest. I would watch additional hours of this content over nearly everything else that’s being produced in this genre...
This should be way longer. Full length movie please
Love the “chucking” strum he’s using for bassackwards. Used to be turned off by the PA “philly” accent, think Kurt’s reminded me its unique and beautiful in its own way and I love the way he shapes words
What a beautiful place to make music! and what a nice musician Kurt Vile is to watch. His awkwardness is one of the purest forms of how sincere he is as a person. And the shot of the rain while kurt sings acoustic is one of my favorite moments

That version of baby's arms is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard....
WE LOVE KURT VILE & THE VIOLATORS !! + everyone involved in this!
i love you kurt
Rest in peace, Dallas.
That was a dope trippy space beat for the outtro.
Saw him at Primavera Sound and it was just amazing. Currently my favourite musician

Awesome doco , Kurt writes awesome melody hooks , it’s great to hear his opinion on things he seems really grounded. Like he won the bingo of the alternate music industry.

Been round long enough to know that KV is the real deal - no doubt.
Love me some Kurt.
The rain on the porch sure was an amazing addition to this sick video
I have no idead what I am watching. But that song ten minutes in was just as pure as i would imagine things sounded back in the day. What day? I know not, ill know never. I know it happened.
Thanks for giving us this window into your life Kurt ❤️
No one will ever be as cool as Kurt Vile hunched over his guitar like that, fucking awe inspiring
Kurt Vile has been by favorite artist for years!! Love you Kurt, keep makin music!!!

I love that KV is doing stuff like this and the Friends of Wonder doc. KV is King
Makes me cry each time
Oh cool! There are a couple of tunes that I periodically listen to while traveling. Great guy, great tunes! Keep it up, Kurt!
Back in the 80s, I had a Matador Records t-shirt. Wish I still did.
“Got a good handful, like maybe 5 songs that are passable” Coulda fooled me, they all straight bangers! I absolutely love you Kurt. Air bud is my all time favourite, I swear it will raise me from the dead some day.
Super music and what a beautiful place. The music fits the location. Kurt Vile is so cool and down to earth.
Greetings from the sout side of Chicago, thanks K.V
Been a fan for years going back to the early years. Good stuff.
The way he creates his music, he really is a true artist.. and that house is freakin spectacular!!
nothing but love for this gentleman
Saw Kurt in February and it was a great show. I'm excited to see the Violators again soon.
I like the album, the concert was epic in length. The violators played for about 3 hours

Forever listening. Long 🎶 is life.
I get sick of just about everyone and I hide in Kurt Vile's arms.
Great tremolo on the check
Great versions of the songs! Great creative improv spirit! This was an interesting mix of very good music, sound, video and chat. It's Kurt! Good taste too in this smooth intimate filming. It made me feel like... creative... cozy... and at home :-) Thanks!
