"Top 250 Greatest Guitarists' list? Rolling Stones is about as relevant as "leaf toilet paper". And just as bogus. About as relevant as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Nicely written songs. But "guitarist". I don't think so.

@@Dat1frog Ah....NO! While she might be ok, there are NO youtube videos that show her playing live that tells me she's a stand out guitar player. I'm not saying she's bad, (although I'm still waiting to see something to sway me), but bro! Come on. There's HUNDREDS of players that are FAR superior to her. And there's several others that should give up spots for people like Steve Howe, Roy Clark, Glenn Campbell, Joe Bonamassa am so many more. I'm sure I'd enjoy her in concert. But 2 things. It's silly for anyone (especially Rolling Stones) to label ANYONE (or 250 of them) "The GOAT". There's too many great players and labeling ANYTHING that is 'subjective' is ridiculous. 2nd. I've enjoyed people in concert immensely that were not great guitarists. Neil Young is NOT a great guitarist but I love his lead solo's. All in the eye of the beholder right brother?

There are many people who are better at playing the guitar but what matters to me is what you are able to do with the instrument. and in my opinion, there are not many modern-day guitarists that can do what she can. Her last album specifically used a lot of weird techniques that you don't see other people use together which showcases her creativity. I also just think she is incredibly versatile which I another thing that I value when it comes to ranking guitarists. Overall my comment was mainly just to point out that this performance on its own is not really the best showcase of her ability and I respect your opinion considering the fact that music is completely subjective.@@cowboy7x

@@Dat1frog You're right, when it comes to "what matrix" you use in measuring guitar skills. But rolling stone's matrix is NOT what I would consider relevant. People like Jack White or Anne Clark (St. Vincent) can come up with some very arty and innovative sounds and creations, but they're still not what I would call "Top 250" or "GOAT" players. However, if Rolling Stone would have labeled this "Top 250" "artists" then I would have considered her (and others) much more worthy of this declaration. And personally, in line with your thinking, I usually would rather see a great artist in concert, like Dylan, Young, Fogelberg, Steve Earl, Ashley Cleveland, Jackson Brown, Joni Mitchell, Ian Anderson, Christopher Cross, Mark Heard, Bruce Cockburn etc., who are good (some of them great guitarists but who are ASLO, the kind of artists that make the guitar an essential part of their artistry.
