Having studied both Shaolin and Wudang Kung Fu as a Westerner it cannot be understated how valuable these arts are to the whole of humanity. They can completely transform a person's character and ultimately lead to Zen or Internal Alchemy. It's great to see this channel promoting them to the world.

Wushu is created by great sages. I have come to understand it is a way to bring inward understand of ourselves where it requires bringing balance to ourself, harnessing our life force, stillness. Wellness, physical fitness and dexterity is really a side effect of the practices. Immense hardwork and discipline! Even just 1% of these teachings will be great for the western education that has purely neglected the need to understand our own body and mind.

I have been there and witnessed the students practice. You can feel a wind from the kick as the move together. Very inspiring trip. And sifu Young was a wonderful instructor who taught my group the 18 fists form.
