The acting is top notch. When the camera cuts to the back seat of the car and the Landlady is there (along with Landlord being up front) the two in the back have this aura that their souls just left their bodies from pure fear. They sold it so well it’s hilarious. Serious tears of laughter every time I see this scene!

This movie is in my TOP 5 favorite movies of ALL time. They don't make them like this anymore. And this whole scene is the perfect blend of suspense, action and comedy!

Kung Fu Hustle and Shaolin Soccer are two masterpieces. I miss Stephen Chow's movies.

Jokes aside, the battle scene was without any doubt, quite excellent, the spearman one was truly magnificent, due of the dance that he did to defend himself with the help of his spears, it made the whole scene awesome.

Even the death of the Leg Guy doesn't feel like we were robbed or cheated. He was the only one without weapons, meaning even if he'd joined the fight later, he'd have been just as helpless against the Musicians.

@@kueapel911 i think what made live action adapted anime flop so bad is mainly because of acting They try to act like an anime character way too much that it isnt appealing to watch at all Gintama and phoenix wright live action is an exception tho Since both are comedy and overly acting actually helps with the delivery of the joke

I watched this movie on theaters with my friends from highschool after we finished the exam back then, still remember how loud we laughed and still remember my friend's funny face when he laughed so hard until he cries on the throwing knifes scenes 😂 😂 So nostalgic and definitely one of the best movie that I've ever watched.

everytime i see this scene is still unbeliveable, that it was only 10 minutes, every shot is unique, had a purpose, full of intent and storytelling, the actor was amazing, brilliant filmmaking in just 10 minutes

Nah, some of it looks really sloppy, especially the part 7:34 till 7:45. But overall the movie has good effects, better kungfu and even better comedy, it is jam-packed with legendary actors, stuntmen and choreographers and will therefore always be a classic and stand the time, even if the FX are sometimes a bit off.

The way they just spawns in the car is hilarious

I still remember every second of this scene like it was yesterday. The best scene of all time in any martial art movie. It was tense and funny at the same time. The the unexpected twist at the end was just icing on the cake.

He got his scene when he defend a kid. It would be a stretch for movie duration and his dead also to show how strong musicians are and rise up question whether anyone up to fight them until chiefs join in so they can showcase their power

I love how the Tiger Claw Kung Fu practitioners actually have claws. It’s little details like that that really make this movie really cool and unique in my opinion, like you can tell there is definitely a mystical element to this movie.

One of the best Martial Arts movies of all time

In my high school years Shaolin Soccer was my jam. Soccer was life for me at that time and I loved that movie, but it also led me to Kung Fu Hustle and the outrageous awesomeness of this movie still brings laughs till this day.

You know how quick and silent you have to be to get in that car without them knowing 😮

But since he was anti - China and mock the communist in Beijing with Love movie. It is harder for him to make movie now with all the restriction. China is pushing for "instant noodle" type of movie , basically putting those pretty handsome celebrities in a movie and just make some garbage movie or drama for the audience.

such a good show, they are all Demi Gods living like normal people.

What i liked about this movie specially this scenes are the authentic, classic, old style Chinese kung fu marshal art style fighting which is like the old sunday morning kung fu series that I've watched before

This entire scene is a perfect blend of horror, action, music, and comedy, all superbly blended together into an unforgettable fight. Every shot is a masterpiece. Every character feels real (in this world). Every attack has power and menace exuding from it. Every wound is a gasp. Every death is a knife in the gut. Every new entrance opens up a whole new level of power.

One of the best emotional scene in this movie.
