While personally this video or any of the other Ghoul Grumps haven't freaked me out, I can say as someone who has diagnosed severe anxiety that loves horror these comments can actually be useful. It seems you're the wrong type of person for it, and I apologise! I'll try to do better about putting more of a disclaimer or putting it under the read more option from now on.

For those who are interested here are some facts about the Kuchisake Onna. She was once a beautiful woman who was revered for her beauty, and man men loved her. One day, she betrayed her husband with another man, and her husband was not happy. He was a samurai, and to punish his wife he unheated his blade and he cut her mouth back to her ears, disfiguring her and ruining her beauty forever. From then on, she was dubbed the Kuchisake Onna, or the "slit mouth woman". Now she is known as an urban legend in Japan, said to wander fee streets with her mouth with a medical mask. There have been tales of children and teens encountering her. They say that she comes up to them and asks "do you think I look beautiful?" If you answer no, she will kill right then and there. If you say yes, she will remove her mask, showing her disfigured mouth, then asks"How bout now?!" If you scream and run, or say no after she shows her face, she will kill you, if you say yes, she will make your face like hers. The only way to stop her, is when she says "do I look beautiful?" you must say "you look so-so. " In that moment of confusion, you can run away and save your life. @Ben Dover that's a bit funny, maybe it's an easter egg/Reference BUT, This Legend is true, long ago, a young woman was married to a Samurai, sadly she was caught cheating by her husband, in anger he slit her mouth with his katana saying his last words before killing her "Who will think you're beautiful now!?" Many years later, this vengeful spirit roams the streets of Japan, asking innocent lives if she's beautiful. If answered incorrectly, she will kill you with these giant pair of scissors, but if answered yes, the spirit takes off the mask, if answered yes, she makes your smile like hers. But if you say "Sorry, I don't have time. I am busy" the spirit will leave you alone.

People like horror games because of the adrenaline rush, without actually being in danger. But, people don't like horror games because they can immerse themselves too much and feel as if they are in danger. In a study with people who like horror movies and who don't, there were two groups. In the control group, the researchers played the movie normally. But in the experimental group, they played the movie with the actors name on the side, reminding them that this is just a movie. The participants in the experimental group rated the movie less scary than the control group. But don't feel too bad, I usually just listen to the audio when you guys have Ghoul Grumps, Nightmare Before Xmas or not.

Not having a way to fight the enemy kills all adrenaline at the door for me. Resident Evil 4 is scary, intense and solid horror. Hallway Simulator #2,347 isn't. Walking around and having something scream at me just makes me sleepy.

I like horror games because the good ones are usually interesting. It takes some imagination to try and properly scare people. My curiosity was always bigger than my fear and nowdays, through playing, watching and reading lots of horror they completely stopped being scary for me. I don't even react to jump scares. But since I'm in only for the plot anyways, I don't mind. Although in good horrors I still can feel great atmosphere.
