The irony of Arin complaining about people being lazy when designing tutorials while being too lazy himself to read the screen is palpable.
@MegaVidFan1
Жыл бұрын
That's the point he's making. He wouldn't skip the tutorial if is it wasnt just a text box. People dont like reading a lot of text, not since 2003 at least, so we like tutorials like Elden Ring or Valheim, which just let you get right into the action whole also explaining the basics. Although yeah he does ignore some actually interesting tutorials for the sake of the show, I'll give you that.
@frankjg1239

I think it really speaks to Yames' unique style that I could almost immediately tell it was one of his games. I love Markiplier's playthroughs of his stuff, everyone should go watch them if you enjoyed this!
Love how Dan’s mind goes straight to pastry growth, he’s so adorable lmao
I spent the ages from 18 to 27 this year in the Marine Corps watching them almost religiously, especially their montages or slow burn horror like Doki Doki. Even on the absolute worst days this content cheers me up even if just for a second and it made a difference. People don't think it be like this, but it do, ya know?
Yames is an incredible artist. I love the bleak atmospheres against the nonchalant, innocent dialogue.
Dan's intense discomfort is somehow entertaining... and I feel bad about it, but not so much that I don't want more episodes.
I was hoping this was a Yames game based on the art style and I was right! Two other equally bizarre games by them are Discover My Body and Water Womb World.
Arin mentioning Helena and then there being a brown banana shortly after is an amazingly comedic coincidence. The bananas has gone bad!
This is how big I am too, Arin.

OH MY GOD ARIN PRONOUNCES CULINARY CORRECTLY As a cook. I am shook.
3:19 Arin you are basically the reason some tutorials some to be done like that though, because if it isn't you will end up spending the entire game not knowing how to do something because you ignored every single minor nudge and hint the game gave you previously and then yell "Well it's not my fault the game never told me." Despite the fact that the game did tell you in exactly what you claim is your preferred way. And this is genuinely only worth pointing out because Arin keeps carrying on so confidently with no self reflection on this point.
@emstink
Жыл бұрын
Arin likes tutorials that are intuitively melded with gameplay. Where it asks you to try something, and you try it, and you see what happens and learn for yourself. He doesn't like big long textboxes explaining what would happen if you tried something hypothetically in a future scenario that isn't currently happening thus as soon as the textbox disappears you immediately forget everything that was just told to you.
@conormurphy4328

31:00 Entropic - chaotic; without form or order; changing. Comes from the Greek en- "within" and trop- "change", change within referring to a closed system. Entropy is lack of order or predictability it can also mean decline into disorder. Physics definition involving thermodynamics is obviously not applicable in the use case, but it's a measure of the available energy a system has. In the context it means that the environment changes so you end up with different things due to changes.

They included the warning because that was in the original games' warning, even though there isn't any particular instance of flashing lights besides the little flicker effect that's always on the visuals.
