Thompson has a good cornerman/trainer. Very calm shows in his work. Pulev is good started to slow but no way will he beat Wladimir.

Pulev, Povetkin, Haye, Rahman, Peter, Thompson and probably someone else were supposed to destroy Wladimir and all had nearly the same result. It is funny that Tyson Fury guy is the one no one expected to win.

pulev ,cant see what all the fuss is about him,looked boring and ordinary in this fight,i know he was fighting a southpaw ,but did not look good to me,jennings and wilder would have no trouble with him,pluev and klitschko,is going to be such a snooze fight,both will be afraid of each other

Kubrat's straight right was excellent.

people tend to forget thompson landed most punches than any other in klitchko fight ... and pulev fought him in 3-4 weeks notice .... after 1 year of inactivity and still beat him easy.

i think thompson and pulev are very good boxers kubrat strikes the best and is one of the best boxers in the world!!!!!!!!!!!! and in Bulgaria thompson is "Tiger'' in his heart and is 42 years old IT'S VERY BEST FIGHT

@Pavel Kostov You honestly just asked me who overrates Pulev? You obviously. You say he's earned the chance to fight Wlad a long time ago. Really? Thomspson was the closest he's came to the top ten contenders. He's fought some decent journeymen, but never a legit contender, other than Thompson who's waaaay past his prime. He didn't look all that impressive against Walker, nor did he here. The last guy he fought is the same guy Arreola wasted in one round three years ago.

Who has fought better opponents? Wilder fought 30 bums and still gets a title shot, so i am ok with pulev getting a shot. He is probably the second best heavyweight of the division IMO. But we all have our opinions.

Primo vid. Still not impressed with Pulev. Guy doesn't stand a chance against Wlad, who is a hell of a lot harder to hit than Tony. He punches a shit ton harder too. Pulev will need that chin. His lack of power won't be doing him any favors, though. Greatly over rated in my opinion.

I think Wladimir wins this one. But I don't think Pulev is overrated at all. Pulev is a very good boxer with fast hands and has a pretty good jab. I would love to see Kubrat vs Povetkin. I think that would be an exciting fight. I would rank Pulev around 3rd or 4th in the division. I'd put him behind only Wladimir, Stiverne and maybe Povetkin.

if he is in any way overrated than Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder are overrated beyond imagination. Wilder KO'ed 30 unemployed former bar brawlers with losing records, Fury got knocked down by a Cruiserweight who was about half his size and has never beaten anybody good. Pulev has beaten much higher ranked boxers. Pulev, if not impressive in terms of technique or power is much more accomplished than these 2 yet them 2 are hyped as the future of HW division. Ridiculous. The truth is since Wlad beat Povetkin, Pulev is the most accomplished undefeated fighter active in the division that's why he gets the title shot.

Well said man. I couldn't agree more. Wilder will have to beat Stiverne to get my respect. Now I think Stiverne may be a little better than Pulev. I would probably put Pulev 4th behind Stiverne and Povetkin. Stiverne has got some serious power man. It's no easy task knocking out Arreola. And he did it twice. Who do you think will win Stiverne vs Wilder?

I must say I take a liking in Pulev, but I would have to agree with ***** - he will most probably have to bend the knee before Klitschko. To my mind a late stoppage (round d 8-12) or a unanimous decision. Although he has an awkward European style, he's still not elusive enough. But hey, its the heavyweight devision: One punch...
