Hell yea buddy. The panel kit is supposed to launch at the end of the summer. Seeing it in person at their booth made me a believer for sure. Would look good on the Tundra!!!😂😂😂😂

I stumbled upon this rack while looking for a Leitner that was in stock locally. This rack is so awesome and the added panels to make it an enclosed "topper" style rack is super innovative. Great video and detail! Picking mine up today!

Oh it’s great, no doubt, but definitely not affordable for the common man. I have a 19 Tacoma, with all the accessories being cheaper knock off brands and Ive never had any fitment issues or catastrophic failures while overlanding, camping , adventuring. I really wish you influencers would start looking at some cheaper products to put pressure on the big name companies to lower prices. This overland tax is getting ridiculous

I definitely test out all different price ranges of product. I agree with you in the sense that things are expensive. However, in all my years I have spent a lot of time and energy installing sub par products that I have to replace a couple years down the road. The old adage, good things aren’t cheap and cheap things aren’t good definitely holds true. The Kuat Ibex is expensive but in my opinion, worth every penny.

I like the overall design. I wish it had a little higher dynamic load capacity. 300 lbs seemed a little light on Dynamic load when they rate it much higher for static loads. Maybe they are just being very conservative in their ratings.

Hands down go with the Ibex. There is a panel enclosure kit coming at the end of the summer. Just got to put my hands on it at Overland Expo West. It’s amazing.

@@AdventureBuilt Okay, cool. Follow up question since you've seen the enclosure kit. How does that work between the truck cab and the bed. Is that area closed off for dust or not with enclosure on?

@@clintbiesinger1243 it is way better than I was expecting. It completely encloses the bed on all 5 sides. All the panels weather seal up and the side doors open. It’s really slick.

Looks good, Kelly. I wonder if they have for the first- gen and to fit a fourteen foot hobie. I have my hobie on fj40, but I'd like to put it on Tacoma.

I don’t know if it they make one to fit the first gen Tacoma but if they do I’m sure it would fit the 14’ Hobie.
