Save money I bought a stainless mid pipe for mine for $160 shipped from England and kept the stock muffler. It sounds great. The Cat weighed 7 lbs the mid pipe weighed only 1lb. You can feel the power increase with better throttle repose.

Sounds amazing. Im going next week to test drive and hopefully purchase. The full akra seems like it’s definitely worth the $$

does KTM have to flash the ECU or remap it to gain more power or you get just the sound?

Your dealer has to upload a different mapping to you ECU

@@MotoSjaak What tires are you using after the PC2’s wear out? They wear quickly but are amazing. Thinking about going with Road 5’s.

@@freebehindbars8654 it all depends on what kind of riding you're doing. The road5s are amazing commute tires and are perfect for in the rain. I only use my bike when it's dry and warm. I will go to the rosso Corsa 2's or Bridgestone S22's. Don't know yet

@@freebehindbars8654 yeah the cup2's are not in the same class as the rosso Corsa 2s. Pirelli has the supercorsas tho. They are pretty similar

Darn I have to get the full system to mine too. Mine sound lame in comparison

Europe as an American is weird to me but i would go crazy if i lived there roads the size of bike paths rain constantly people blurring their speedos so big brother doesn't send them a ticket. A different way of life to be sure people packed everywhere im sure its amazing but I would need major training to ride there :)

sounds great! roads look crap, better on a smaller capacity, like 125, for fun there. But sounds good fo sho my bro.

Did you remap or use a piggyback ECU tuner with the exhaust .... Was it worth the 2K + ?

KTM supplies a special mapping for the full akra system. Depends on what you use it for to be worth 2k😂

wat is jouw lengte?, ben zelf ook naar 890 aan het kijken maar ik zit richting de 2 meter heb nu een 950 sm Rond Schipluiden is altijd heerlijk rijden:)

Ik ben zelf 1.83 en de motor is voor mij prima te doen. Misschien zelfs iets de hoge kant.

Which all powerparts have you tried? Just got mine. Thinking of upgrading the seat.

I have the comfort seat. It is still pretty hard. I don't think I could ride this bike for more than 2 hours without stopping 😅

@@MotoSjaak same here. I can do about 2 hours. I ended up with the standard 890 not the 890r which has more relaxed ergonomics. Thinking about getting the tall seat to add some extra padding.

Ja heb ik op gereden. Voor op straat is het echt overkill. De 890r is een perfecte middenweg. Ze sturen alle 2 even makkelijk.

Ik heb nu 2 maanden een nieuwe ktm duke 890 (35kw) in de schuur staan. Ben nog aan het kijken naar een andere uitlaat. Heb je ooit problemen gehad met politie omdat je een decat systeem hebt?

Nee, nog nooit. Ik heb 2 vrienden die beide ook met een vol systeem rijden en die hebben ook nog nooit problemen gehad. Je moet gewoon niet als een idioot in de binnenstad rijden, dan komt het goed 😂

DB killers on ? I have noticed that they are now welded so you can't remove them.

This is a full system so these are not welded. The slipons are welded but there are tricks to remove them.

@@MIke-rq9rz dit systeem is wel echt luid. Zelfs met DB killer. Zonder DB killer heb ik eigenlijk niet geprobeerd omdat ik met al een beetje te luid vind. Ik heb een aangepaste DB killer laten maken bij Pajic R&D in Gendringen. Deze maakt hem wel wat stiller en beschaafder.

The max I did was 245 on track

It was a foolish and stupid mistake for me to listen to this on my full audio system. Because I'm in the middle of a deal getting this bike and I thought this exhaust is not needed. Apparently it is!!!

@@dannygernaat9961 ik zag het inderdaad op de Facebook groep. Ben benieuwd wat je er van vind. Die van mij is momenteel stuk. Vermoed de nokkenasketting spanner. Hij gaat morgen naar Goedhart motoren.
