Thank you. You helped me a lot. The ktm guys in sandgate road Virginia, in Brisbane Australia..they, didn't tell me about the screen filter. So now its on order. I mean how, bad is this. They work in the ktm, parts department, and don't even know how to do there job. After I changed the 2 fillters, I looked at your video, gave them a call..its on order. Thank you for this video..I have the, 2022 model. Love it..but thank you..can you go off road,?

The screen I removed didn't seem clogged up with debris, so it's probably okay to skip changing it once in a while. This is a friend's bike and I don't remember what his service manual says about the screen, but the kit comes with a new one and it's good practice to change it as often as you can. I've seen motorcycle shops do much worse and I really believe it's best for us to learn to do this stuff ourselves.

To remove the filters i use a pen magnet.

Oh, that's a cool idea. I would have thought the filters were made with aluminum, which is non-magnetic. Good to know.

I'm sorry but this isn't my motorcycle and I haven't done that job yet so I'm not sure how it is done either. You should look for a service manual for that bike. It should explain the whole procedure for you.

Yep, one or the other. I listed both because T30 is the better choice but many people don't carry them. Everyone has an 8mm socket.
