    I've watching your videos, this channel is a gem!💎 I have a question between the wr250 and ktm500. I don't have alot of motorcycle experience, most I've ridden on road was renting 150cc in Mexico to drive around an island twice. Also had a 50cc dirt bike as a kid lol, so little experience. I would like to get a ktm500, but people say it's too much bike. At the same time I wouldn't want to get a wr250 only to think a month or two later I should have just gotten a ktm500. I'm 150lb 5"8 Where I would use it, is county dirt, gravel roads daily to drive into the city, and muddy roads with soft grass, when the rains come out on the ranch. Do you think I should just go with a ktm500 and just learn it for the start, or is a wr250( or other 250cc type) easier motorcycle a must.

  • @CorkyStuntsTV

    @CorkyStuntsTV

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hey man! I have a lot of time spent on both a wr250 and the ktm. Something to think about first is price, the ktm will be a lot more expensive and the maintenance on a ktm will be a little more expensive. Next I’d say, if power doesn’t bother you go for the 250 for now. I owned my wr250 after owning other 450’s and I’ve gotta say the wr250 is still one of my favorite bikes and I personally never felt the desire for more power. At the same time though, having the power from the ktm is nice now 😂. As far as a starter motorcycle, they both are tame bikes. The 500 doesn’t have the punch like a 450 MX bike, It’s really smooth just like the wr250 unless you fully crack the throttle obviously. I’d like to make a video comparing the two sometime but I hope that helps for now! Either way you can’t go wrong! 🤘🏼

    Just depends on what you’re doing, your riding style, where you’re riding. KTM recommends oil changes every 10 hours, and valve checks every 50. You can stretch those out with however comfortable you are with it
