Awesome video, you are braver than most for riding a motorbike in the snow. The 390 is such an under rated machine, it looks like a lot of fun to ride.

Haha, thanks. I think the 390 Adventure is definitely underrated, especially for offroad. With some proper setup, it can do a lot more than expected. It's quite the little ripper through curves as well. I highly recommend giving one a try if you can.

The 390 Adventure is a amazing machine, especially with some knobby’s on it. That being said, it’s a lot of work on trails like that in the snow and mud. That’s why I added a dual sport to my arsenal. A lot more fun with those types of trails. First gear is way to tall for any technical riding. But what will help you out , besides changing sprockets is the FuelX. It allows to lug it down a little more so you don’t have to feather the clutch so much. Anything less than 10 mph I would be feathering the clutch, now it’s below 6 mph. The throttle is more linear with the power band until you get past 6000 rpm’s where you still get that wow factor. Definitely recommend for trail riding.

Nice riding, takes courage to ride in the snow like that. just got a new 390 adv yesterday and took it out today. Road it like a dirtbike on some cruddy gravel roads. It held up well, only bottomed out the suspension once and that took some pretty but bumps to do. Loving this thing so far.

i too was out in the snow, ice and mud recently and have come to the conclusion of two things: i need a fuelpro/lite, and i need 50/50 tires. the conti's are great for wet roads and fire trails, but find some wet clay or snow and it aint goin anywhere.

For sure, I never got far into muddy or wet terrain on the stock TKC70s before I was out of grip.
