Had the pleasure of hearing KT (when she was plain Katie!) playing with these guys in a pub in St Andrews in 2000. She was outstanding that night and it was clear that she had a great chance of making it with such a superb voice. The rest as they say id history. This track can be found on "Tracks in July" album but as this may have been a limited sampler I don't know if it is obtainable. Anyway if you get the chance do have a listen - my favourite track is Telephone Bill...a phone call to a lover where the relationship is on the slide. Rock on KT!

Over a decade later and this song still takes me back to that feeling I had the first time I listened to it. Incredible song writing and musicality.

If you can find her "Acoustic Extravaganza" you'll get this and a lot of others. The original came with a great "making of" DVD that's worth looking for. If you haven't heard "Throw Me a Rope" it's another gem.

¿La canción ASHES del DVD es la misma que la ASHES del CD?, porque estuve buscando el video de ASHES igual a éste, en donde KT Tunstall la interpreta con sus músicos aquí en ese cuarto pequeñito todos apiñados... y me doy cuenta de que esa canción no la han subido a KZread, por lo que supongo que ha de ser (el audio) el mismo que aparece en el ASHES del CD.

La canción Ashes que aparece en el CD de Acoustic Extravaganza es la misma que aparece en el DVD, el tema es que en el DVD no estaba la grabación entera del tema, sólo una parte. Esa parte está en otra parte del material del DVD, que se llama "Out-Takes", y si no tenés el DVD en tu casa la podés ver acá: watch?v=_-3_MWeIgII Espero que te haya servido, aguante KT c:
