I'm grieving the loss of my fiancee, and although I know she can't "come back and find me", this song says so much of what I feel after she died. Amazing song.

I cry every time I hear this song, and I can't even relate to the lyrics. It's so beautiful, and I listened to it every single day for at least half a year when I was in fifth grade. I just recently remembered it, and I've listened to it every single day since. She's such an incredible artist, with so much talent and she's so sweet and beautiful too. She's everything I want to be.

Why does this song move me the way it does? For some reason, I tear up every time I hear this song.. a combination of the lyrics and her voice.

It's her honesty, the purity of her soul, the unbelievable courage it takes to share it without reservations.

I m from china,KT many songs are rock style, but this Unplugged ALBUM is the best,that cd in my card 10 years till now

Can I just say how much I love how the lyrics rest on top of the music? What I mean is this. Anyone can come up with lyrics that follow the DAH-dah-dah pattern ("dactyls" I believe the kids are calling it these days); but coming up with dactyls that don't naturally consist of syllables of equal lengths, and yet arranging it so that the stresses still land on the beat every time, and making it sound effortless ... ? That's a pretty good trick. For example, I love the line, "oh I've got to be unconditionally unafraid of my days without you". Any old robot could sing that with equally long syllables, and it would sound junky. But as recorded, the line is sung with each syllable taking exactly as much time as it needs to sound natural, and still each stress hits exactly where it needs to. That doesn't just happen by accident.

When a song takes your words and your feelings and your heart and your tears and gives them a voice. This hurts, but it's also a balsam to the pain. Thank you, KT.

She really is the sweetest thing. This song is over ten years old but still works; you can still hear the typical KT sound in her current work.

Actually, its nearer 20 years old. This was a song KT wrote in the early 2000s. Google 'Songs In July', it was an EP she recorded back then. This was her style then, very folky and very acoustic. Maybe they thumbs downed it because it brought all the feels to the surface, and they just couldn't handle it. So instead of looking into the eyes of their pain- they thumbs downed the song to try n cope:( What a beautiful song 💙🦋🌌

¡Guao!, esta mujer canta increíble y lo que más me gusta de ella es que no es una diva, sino que parece ser una mujer muy sencilla. ¡Ojalá sus álbumes se publicarán acá en Venezuela!, soy de la ciudad de Barquisimeto y acá es sumamente difícil lograr encontrar discos de artistas como esta mujer... He ido a Caracas y allá, en las tiendas de discos, tampoco es posible encontrar los discos de ella.
