Good explanantion of the baler and it's operation. The wedges you showed at the end might be for mounting to the rear door as you said, to help lift the bale up and out when baling heavy crops. I know some round balers are optionally fitted with them, but where exactly is the trick. The rotation of the forming bale will slide over the wedge, but when opening they catch the bale and provide some lift up and towards the rear so it can roll over the rear roller more easily when you re-engage the rollers to eject them. I checked the manual for my KR 150 to see if that offered some clues, but that makes no mention of the wedges, so you might need to talk to an old-skool farmer or service technician if wanting/needing to use them.

Nice when a farmer can explain his equipment so well as this. No belts. Looks like the old New Holland balers with the bars and chain for wrapping the bales.

I have a Krone 125. I can’t get the twine to feed through the rollers and catch on the pickup when I pull the string to start the wrapping process. I have to manually pull 2-3 feet of twine through the rollers run it through the hooks on each side and put it on the ground and then pull forward slightly so the pickup grabs the twine. Then it wraps the bale and cuts fine. Any suggestions?

If nothing turns when you pull the rope first thing to check, the plastic pulley on the twine feed mechanism that contacts the pulley on the gearbox it should have a thick rubber o-ring on it for grip. That's common to break and fall off. Next I'd check bearings in the twine feed making sure it turns by hand free and easy. Check bearings in the needle drive by turning the triple pulley that they turn free and easy. Maybe loosen a couple turns the pinch plate that keeps tension on the twine.. Hope this helps.
