Love this interview, and I love her yarn! The times I wear my LBA sweater, people always gasp at the beautiful colorway.

I just returned from Paris and I visited this shop! The yarn and staff were wonderful. Aimee was very nice....and by lucky coincidence I believe I ate at the tea and yarn cafe she mentions in this video!

Yay! I knew this episode was coming soon!

I'm sitting outside, knitting and enjoying the podcast in PALATINE, IL.... crazy, it just got mentioned....lol.....love the interview!

I'm so glad you addressed that pronunciation issue! My high school French teacher has been turning in her grave, LOL. Fantastic video, though. So interesting to learn how knitting shops are different in Europe. I love the way you keep saying "Paris FRANCE."

My first podcast watch and I loved it. I laughed so hard when Justin presented the mohair yarn in a Vanna White-esque fashion. Also, I was in Paris in August and was very sad that the shop was closed the whole month :(

In Germany we pay tax for playing music in public places and the artists get parts from it

In the US restaurants and shops have to pay to play music--but they are paying the performers' organization and the money goes to the artists. So it's not a tax (which would be to the government) but rather a fee.

Oh the end is a bit strange to me... it sounds like she picked up this Parisian attitude with her customers, I did not like how she told her the shop is closed. Anyway... if you come to Europe again, maybe you could meet some locals, there are some doing a wonderful job even though there might be a language barrier maybe...
