The issue with coffee is its effect on the nervous system and it slowly weakens it and some Christians feel that their bodies is the Temple of the Holy Spirit and want to present their bodies as a living sacrifice avoiding not only tobacco, alcohol but also stimulants that affect the body and caffeine alters the nervous system giving people a false sense of energy but really it’s destroying it. The more you take over the years it becomes addictive and then you feel the affects of not drinking. More and more studies are being done and it’s only bad for the body. Here is a medical conclusion if just one of the findings Due to its structural similarity, caffeine can lead to the blockading of adenosine receptors (A1 and A2)4 and increase autonomic nervous system (ANS) activity through the release of plasma catecholamines, inducing tachycardia and increased blood pressure (BP)3,5,6. God who created us wants us to be wise and according to the Bible prosper in health. The Mayo clinic warns pregnant women and women trying to become pregnant should avoid it. Studies show that people have a different tolerance level to caffeine so it may affect some folks more than others. Hope this helps blessings.

Coffee contains a bowel irritant, and disturbs thought patterns and deep sleep. Addiction and reliance on anything other than God himself, does not enable God to heal us. So we carry Stuff that damages us, and in turn, we damage others, and that thing replaces a better and more open relationship with God... and others. This girl explains that coffee was a cover she was using, to block things that God wanted to heal. Hope this helps.
