I love these testimonies of Conversions, especially the difficult ones such as from being a secular Jew to SDA or from being a Catholic Priest to SDA. That is a Journey.

Thank you for your honesty. I got clean and sober and smoke free in 1978 by the power of Jesus Christ. But I too experienced much of the lack of support from people that I needed. I found out many powerful tools in 12 step AA and NA. I learned how to break down into doable parts the way to rebuild a life from addiction into a fuller life and How to let God heal the broken pieces. Jesus is able to handle anything you are willing to completely release into His will. And He knows better than we do what's best for us. Bless all who watch this.

I got offended myself about anti papacy sermons when I first attended SDA church. The reason I kept going was because it was mandatory being a dormed student at SDA school. God kept pursuing me and many many years later, I finally found and accepted the truth.

By the way, I remember Sam Ocampo when he was, perhaps, 4 y.o. In Ñaña, now SDA Peruvian University, in the outskirts of Lima. I was in High School. His parents were Professors there.
