Kris is absolutely the best, the Golden Boy of the country music, the best song writer ever!!! We just love him and his songs, there is some meaning in his songs!

Age does not interfere with him or his songs he still delivers the best, I dont think he knows how famous and loved he really is.

Kris is great no one touches him in songwriting. Topped the charts in all major genres

I first heard him sing on the radio when i was 10 years old!For 37 years I have wanted to see him in concert! Finally got my tickets to go see him this October 2017. Counting down the days!

I met Kris and Rita in about 1977 I think at the amphitheater in Hollywood. Rita was performing her song that I also like to sing called the way you do the things you do. Anyway Chris was sliding down the wall in his tux and I thought he was soused and then later thought well he's preparing for his role in a star is born, but I was also performing at other places on the Rick Nelson circuit with my sister known as the Gentry sisters. My husband's name was Krist and he had blue eyes as well and they looked alike and got along pretty well. I later married a man just like Kris and he ended up driving drunk no longer with us I'm sorry to say. I left just in time. Worst time in my life I think. I truly loved him . Anyway I still have the autographs from that night at the amphitheater. Rita looked beautiful in her flowing white gown blowing in the wind as she was singing her song. And I sure miss seeing them together.

Thanks for this. I didn't know Kris was at Rama last month. Would have loved to be there. Haven't seen him since he played the Diamond in Toronto in the late 80's. His recordings from the last 10 years have been up there with the best of his work!

Kris is my hero.

Jason Lee + Amen. As long as we remember him he WILL! There's an excellent 4 part documentary on Kris by Steve Earle here on KZread. LOTS of details. I highly recommend it! I can't listen to "Who's Gunna Fill Their Shoes" without thinking of Kris. Earle is also an accomplished artist (Southern Country). His "Train A Comin'" album is very good. Cheers!

Judy Miller his age is been showing since he finished a star is born LOL mine too. Life is a stress and actually Kris looks better than he has a long time I think. I uploaded some songs as well but I was just practicing. I love singing Bobby McGee and I sing it the way Janis Joplin did. Now I love to sing Summertime and I haven't seen or sang that song in years. We don't have much sun in Washington state and winter is on the way

God bless this man! Yeah he's showing his age but so what? As he once wrote "he went down with his fists swinging from the floor". As someone just posted he is as good and important as Dylan. We all age but has the guts and passion to keep doing at 80!? The guy is worth over 160 million so he is driven by passion not money. I saw him here in 2010. Actually he is much funnier in this show. The guy is all heart and I don't care if he tours until "they throw dirt on him" ( his quote)

sküll düggery he's better then Dylan especially considering the years he was off in Hollywood but mainly the number of songs that were hits Dylan was great but like Willie over 5000 songs and In music before chords , but not as many hits as notes

Well Kris is still got what he never had! And we love him all the more LOL only kidding. We know those kinds of jokes in our day. Love singing harmony with Kris. We come from the same place. I was singing on Radio at 5 years old with my family associated with the Grand old Opry my sister standing on a box WSRW Hillsboro Ohio! Yep we were around with the Carter family. Sure miss June and John never met them but Mom and Dad sure talked about them. Yep I'm going through it too.

Love him & his way with words. I do not know a song of his that i don't like. I was really upset when i found out he was at Rama. I get notices of who is there & i don't know how i ever missed him. I sure hope he comes back to this area. I also saw him at the Diamond ( i believe that is what the club called on Church Street in Toronto. Was great & a small club very casual) so we were sitting on the floor just a few feet from him. It was wonderful.

Great they had those big screens for those that didn't get first row tickets.

skater girl I don't compete on the number of concerts that I've been and will be able to attend. I'm happy for every single one that I can and I'm lucky Kris is coming to Europe again and not too far from my home so I'll get another opportunity. And even during my holidays! I know some great fans who would be so happy to just get one chance for their first Kris concert. I'm happy for you to be able to attend so many concerts in a row. Enjoy and appreciate 😊
