Krieghoff Know How - Remove the Front Hanger

In this video we go through the steps to remove and refit the front hanger on a K-80. With some simple tools, this job is very easy to do.
With just a plastic hammer, a set of 1.4mm & 0.9mm pin punches and a wooden drift, I show you in steps, how to remove the front hanger and then put it back on.
The front hanger is available in various sizes, in increments of 0.5mm. Plus a choice of materials such as Steel, Titanium, Gold Titanium and Black Titanium.
The hanger will only affect the point of impact of the bottom barrel.

Hi Craig, thanks for showing interest in our channel. But the Pro Rib Spacer system was replaced by the adjustment wheel system a few years ago. But when we get a set of Pro Rib barrels in to us with the Spacer system, I'll look into making a short video. The spacers are still available from the Krieghoff factory in Germany. I hope this helps.
Great video. Do you recommend a light coat of oil on the barrel end before hanger re-installation ?

Hi, there's no need to use any oil when fitting the hangers back on.

The part is used to change the point of impact or to change the pattern. Some shooters will choose 50/50, and other 60/40. The hanger can alter this depending on the individual shooter. What hanger would you recommend for a 60/40 pattern would a number 3 be ok
